In the English language, a double quote " indicates inches; a single quote ' indicates feet. 48 feet is as long as a semi-trailer. I don't think you want your trailer running wild for 48 feet before the chain stops it.

Does the 2,000 lb. capacity mean it will support or lift 2,000 lbs. before it breaks? I would be lifting items, not using it on a trailer.
