Good value pieces
Excellent quality pieces for what you pay. Very solid and good looking pieces, with a nice weight to them. The Black pieces look especially good. I think they're made from resin and not wood, but they are very solid and I imagine long wearing.

Value For Money
Arrived in a cardboard box, each colour of pieces was in it's own plastic bag, the white ones in a zip lock type food bag, the black ones in a ripped plastic bag, so initially I wasn't too impressed. When unpacked and on a board though they look great, big, chunky and value for money. Unless you're going to leave them out on display you'll need a box to put them back into, but that's pretty standard for wooden sets of this size. Overall, I'm very happy with them.

GOOD QUALITY , VERY GOOD PRICE
These chess pieces are nice I especially like the Rooks there taller than most ive seen , I would say you need a board with at least 45mm squares as these pieces are hefty, the white pieces are a light cream colour and the black pieces are a sort of singed brown wood look. The knights and the other pieces are all well carved they are not very heavy but alright they make a thud and the felt is thick underneath.

The king and queen looked of and out of place the pieces have no weight and easily fall over

Great Value
Just received my Staunton no 7 chess set and i am really pleased with the pieces and the quality, the finish is very good and they are nicely weighted and felted. They are great value for the money, recommended.

Chess Pieces
