Really Excellent.
Really very impressed with both the quality and performance.This is a substantial and well made product. This long cable came with protective pull off caps and great connectors and protective outer cabling, which was important to me. I used it to connect my quality HiFi CD player to a remote amplifier / speaker system, which was several metres away. Sound was first rate with no drop off compared to short optical or short wired connectors.Thoroughly recommend.

good value optical cable
after buying a (slightly) cheaper product from China and having it break in less than a month, I took that sellers advice of "cheap one break - you buy more money for good one" to see what options were available for a more sturdy connector boot.I was very surprised to see that the products on Amazon were just as competitive as the other chinese website plus the bonus of better support from the platform.Doing a bit of review reading I decided on this product (5m version).Product is exactly as pictured, seems sturdy, clicks into the sockets in a definite way, and of course functions well.Overall, very happy with the product and the price of it.

Sturdy cable
Works as intended, I'm not really into my audio so can't really comment of where its great or just good sound. I have no issues, sound is clear, no latency.only thing is mention is make sure your port is not obstructed or indented in a way that this won't fit. you see that the actual connection (gold bit) sticks out and then it goes into the black circle surround.. The surround is circle and my speakers port has a square indent so the connection doesn't click in. see picture of the old connection and this one.

I accidentally broke my previous optical audio cable. Replaced it with this cable which works really well. It looks and feels like a very good quality product.

This cable, together with a USB-Toslink converter from Nobsound Douk, now feed 24-bit/96kHz digital audio from my Mac Studio to my Marantz PM7000n amplifier. In turn, this amp feeds a pair of Bowers & Wilkins 607 S3 loudspeakers.Before I installed this cable I was using the Heos app to feed music to my amplifier. The Heos app sources music from my uPnP server on my Mac, my iPhone or my online content (e.g. Deezer).I was not expecting a step up in audio quality by using this Toslink cable and the converter from Nobsound Douk.Well, in reality there is an improvement, and a very obvious one too. Everything is better placed and clearer. The bass is more tuneful and agile, and the treble shines through. Vocal resolution is significantly improved. I listen to music as part of my job, and I'm hearing things in tracks I have not heard before in decades of listening.I don't understand this improvement. But it is very enjoyable. I am a happy customer.
