I don’t often write reviews, unless something really surprises me (good or bad!).This has nothing to do with whether I found this effective on cellulite.I am a Research Nurse, so am open to results.Within 3 minutes of applying NOT THIS, but the HOT version, I was in agony! I don’t mean uncomfortable. I mean like when you’re walking in burning sand…but it’s every part of your body to which you applied this! And it didn’t last 10 minutes; it lasted 1 hour, before it became bearable (but didn’t go away). It took a lot of self control to get through it!What’s so strange is that them I tried this ‘cool’ version, with no problem.Scientifically speaking, the only difference between the two, is that this one has added cayenne pepper, and the other has added menthol.If you believe this formula has merit, then why choose the one that will torture you for over an hour? Unless you’re into that, of course…chacun son goût!

I literally bought this thing yesterday, not off Amazon, but at a store where I am currently placed for research. Mind, I don't see why I wouldn't share my experience thus far with other customers, especially as my partner and I usually buy a lot of everything off Amazon, and we both like to see even the experiences of those who bought their stuff elsewhere, but have decided to share their stories on here. (Experience is experience, right? Always useful!)First things first - my overall health, age etc..I am a woman in my early mid-thirties. I had a "big girl" era when I was a child and at the start of my teens; after that, when I kicked the "good home cooking" habits of my birth family in the teeth and started eating healthy food and exercise, I slimmed down to the US size 2 (that's probably my best reference, as we're talking bathing suits, business suits and whatnot from Victoria's Secret when they still had actual clothes; the sizing varies from manufacturer to manufacturer, which is why I'm choosing the single one for reference, as I had varied items off them and they all fitted in the same way; in EU sizes, if you do wish for a comparison closer to home, I usually went for 36 or 34, and I went for 6-8 for comfort on most UK sizes, especially as I am a rather busty lady).That was my state for about twenty years, and while I always had a bit of padding on my butt and thighs, at least for my personal preferences (I like a firm, tight, fit body; fitter even than what I managed thus far, but that's personal preference, like I said), I never had a problem until the last few years.In the last few years, my work took me to Eastern Europe, and then everything happened at once - the living conditions of Eastern Europe, resultant hormonal (there are hormones in the food here - I checked on that with a specialist!) and health issues, lack of healthy food, resultant depression and stationary work (from behind a computer screen internationally - UK education doesn't actually count as "real" here! :P) and on went quite a lot of weight.I started exercising again (forget about living healthily - I'll have to be back to UK for that!), which was greatly encumbered by my IBS (mentioned I hate the food and the stress here yet? :P). For long months now, it's literally been I start exercising, I almost start getting somewhere with it, and then IBS kicks me for another month and I can't continue.In all honesty, if my partner of a decade wasn't so absolutely loving, I'd hate myself right now, because it's more than any woman can handle to have her body ruined like this.Fortunately, I do have a very supportive partner, and that means we've both been looking at what's out there to try and help at least a little bit.One thing we did find recently was a Garnier tightening lotion, which has worked wonders in about a week. Then, my love came up with this.It was actually an accidental find, but we went for it and O.M. G!!!I have incredibly sensitive skin, crowned with dermatographia on top (yeah, no fun... :P). This product hasn't irritated me yet, which is a good sign... trust you me, I know in seconds if it intends to!We literally purchased it yesterday. Among all the (fairly limited, but still available) Eveline products, this was the one I had a good feeling about after reading the label. It's a very affordable product - usually, if you want quality, you so have to buy up, not down, where price is concerned.But this one is a special case.I couldn't wait to try it out the next day, so I put some on after showering and after I've already put on the Garnier lotion.Good news - they didn't clash, but worked together, even though I did wipe off a bit of excess cream with a damp cloth.Then, I went to bed.I woke up different. In a good way. I seriously do mean that. Both myself and my partner noticed visible difference in the tightness of my skin; the left side of my hip particularly (anyone else ever noticed that there can be literally one side is heavier with this?) is smoothed down to literally the size of the other half. There was, for your information, about a handful more to grab there.I reapplied in the morning (of course I did, lol). Result?It's been very hot here, and in heat, everything tends to expand, right?Not today. I have no panties digging in because flab, and things haven't changed yet.In other words, I feel and look slimmer, with my clothes fitting a lot better.Now, obviously, I can't tell you how well it's going to keep working... yet. But if it continues even half as well as it started, I have found perfection in a tube.I only ever had a similar experience with Anne-Marie Borlind's anti-cellulite gel. Which I haven't been able to get my hands on for ages.So yeah... that's me very, very impressed. And very thankful. Every woman (and plenty of men!) knows that cellulite is an uncomfortable thing. In so many ways, and it's so difficult to get it off. Personally, I join regular yoga with HIIT exercise and with mild weight lifting. A cardio (and abs!) programme I swear by and have sworn by for 20 years is Billy Blanks' Tae Bo.Will this get me where I want to be? Hopefully. We're also likely to move back home to the UK soon, meaning I'll be able to join healthy food to the rest of the regime. It's certainly worth a try, and I'll work my way through this one and then see what next. Like I said, so far, five stars is an understatement.When you apply it, it can feel a bit cold. Pleasantly so, though I have to say I expected more cooling than I got. If your skin is sensitive to rubbing, you might irritate it a little bit - but that's not necessarily the product, so make sure you are certain what you're reacting to before you get spooked or disappointed.The texture is light cream rather than lotion or gel. It drinks in fairly well, with a bit of stickiness remaining on your skin for maybe an hour afterwards, but then, it's gone and you're fine (at least that's what my skin does). And that's really all that there is to say - a fantastic product with formidable strength, which, I hope, will continue to amaze me.

It works great but shame I can't stand cooling effect

Made my skin really nice and soft but didn't have an affect of slimming or made skin smoother looking. I used it twice a day. I exercise intensely and eat a healthy diet but no difference
