My copy was ripped into multiple sections and one page folded in two by a toddler who is in her "do it myself" stage when attempting to fold it together 😂

I absolutely adore this book. It's high contrast, so it's perfect for newborns. And the design to make it fold out is great for putting it on the floor with the baby for tummy time.The pictures are gorgeous. I love that we can introduce animals to our baby. I know her understanding is limited right now at 7 weeks, but I foresee this book being a favorite for the next year or two. Right now, at her very young age, I love seeing how she stares at the images. It holds her attention for ages because of the high contrast.This is a beloved book in our house. I'll be buying more by the author for my baby because they are perfect for introducing basic words/ concepts. And for me, I just love the beautiful paintings.I hope the author makes more newborn books like this that are high contrast and work for tummy time. Highly recommend having this book the day your baby comes home from the hospital.

We use this board book all the time during tummy time! Its great that it folds out and can stand on its own - we just place it to the side of our baby's mat and he loves to look at the high contrast pictures of the animals. Its folds back into itself which makes it easy to store and pack for trips, just like a book. I also like the realistic look to the animals since so much baby stuff is cutesy and cartoons.

Gorgeous book! This author’s books are going to be my new go to baby shower gift or young child birthday gift. This book in particular is so wonderful with realistic, black-and-white images and the way it folds out is perfect for tummy time. The illustrations are breathtaking! Sincerely, the books could not be more lovely and perfectly written. I highly recommend these to anyone! We have quite a few now and hope to get more in the future for my grandsons.

This book is perfect for introducing high contrast imagery to a young baby. The pictures are big as well as the name of each animal under each picture. The book can stand on its own when fully opened which is a nice touch so you can stand it up in front of your baby while doing tummy time to help encourage them to lift their head and strengthen their neck and back muscles
