Flashing red light but still mice
Left this for a couple of months while still trapping mice. After 3 months quite sure it made no difference. As soon as I re-baited the traps with fresh peanut butter within days they were full of dead field mice.Tried everything. Used cat litter from a neighbour. Clove and peppermint oils. Wire wool in every outside crevice I can find. Fancy hard oil in tinsNothing stops these field mice coming into my ground floor flat. And I don’t live in the country. For 15 years we had a dog and not one mouse. Bless him didn’t realise what a good job he was doing just being here.So I guess I’ll just keep killing them. Have no sympathy or feeling for them anymore. Even when they’ve died the wrong way round in the trap.So tired of rubbish options on Amazon that just don’t work. Only baited traps and I wonder if the bait is encouraging them sometimes.Have just sprayed WD 40 under the kitchen units and around the ground level boiler - smells but getting desperate- even considering a cat and I’m a dog person.

does it work? not sure….
J needed a battery operated device for my meter cupboard as I keep getting mice in there. I’ve got a trap in there as well. since putting this device in there I hadn’t had any mice at all for about six months then suddenly this morning I found a dead one in the trap, so does it work? I couldn’t really tell you - possibly…..

Shh....I think it may work!
I actually don't want to write the review and curse the success I have had with this product. After trying every single humane way possible to deter the local squirrel population from using my loft as a holiday home, it was coming down to the pest man. I'm a soft touch, so I grabbed this device as a last attempt to get the squirrels to find a different residence. I liked the fact it uses normal batteries rather than lithium, due to the fire risk.1st week or so I was not impressed, the squirrels made the most noise they ever have, stomping around. Then suddenly quiet! It's been 3 weeks now and nothing, they have moved out!Hoping it will buy me some time in order to get the roof sorted and any gaps blocked, but for now I'm happy 😊

Rats Eek!
The media could not be loaded. I wanted this for outdoor use near bird feeders. I've had to improvise a weather shield as it's not protected.A rat has visited, so discouragement is the first step. Cheap enough to try. I've a stockpile of PP3 to get through.

Very effective
The house suddenly had a lot of night-time scuffling, chewing and droppings, so I ordered one of these mains-free repellers. I put it down in my mother's room the day it arrived, and I also bought a different brand plug-in device for the lounge to deter mice from getting in through the fireplace. (I will dot a few other brands around the house as well this week, so no mice ever get comfortable.) Some mice seem to have been dislodged, so it looks like at least one of the two repellers is working. The cats brought us more dead mice than usual the day I put the devices down. I suspect some mice have pups and will take time to leave. I'm happy to see that the sound doesn't trouble the cats one bit. The leaflet with one of the repellers, I forget which it was, said that cats can't hear it.So far I have the following feeling about this device:No surprise if mice with babies stay to raise them.No surprise if the place immediately gets lots of mice running around, they probably come out of their nests because of the noise. No surprise if hungry little mice just block their ears and go for bait, if there is any bait nearby. No surprise if mice get used to the sound after a while.I'll update in September or so, because either this was an amazingly fast result, or there are more mice lurking in the wall cavities.Update in September: Looks like we got an amazingly fast result. No mice in the house now, so I moved the battery repeller to the shed, where there's no electricity, about a month ago. No mice in the shed either, not that I ever saw any in the first place. On the down side, the little frog that I saw a few times in the shed seems to have moved out.
