Perfect pocket size
Not been in an emergency situation to use it yet but its what i would call pocket size but not to small, had a flick through and it has some handy illustrations. Very clear to read and very handy just to own especially the way the world is at the moment.

I would recommend this book but only as a tool to help you remember.
So, for your bug out bag it IS very nice addition. There is quite wide range of information inside but of course there is not enough space in this small book to go deep into any topic. If you are into survival and prepping, it IS useful. Just for the fact that in survival situation you can get stressed out, hungry or cold or injured and you simply cant quickly remember all your survival skills then this book is fantastic reminder of all the basics. And the size is very, very handy to fit even in your pocket.I would rate this book 8 out of 10.Overall - I would recommend this book but only as a tool to help you remember.PS: If this info was helpful please let me know by clicking on link below.Thank you guys.Martin

the title says it all
A great little book packed with information ideal for off grid holidays. Also an interesting read for the outdoor type. Note..pocket size..small print ..if you have poor eye sight look for a larger publication.

a must !
Running from an SHTF event, decided to be a wild man of the woods, GOING OFF GRID, travelling and worried of accidents, fearfull of being shipwrecked with a basket ball or simply want to camp rough. if you said yes to any of these and are not Tom Hanks, or even if you are, then this book is a must. small enough to fit in a coat pocket, and with clear print and diagrams, its a combination of SAS Handbook and How to live off the land, shrunken down. Having this book wont guarrantee you will survive but it witt give you the knowledge needed to survive almost any disaster short of a Zombie plague. A must for hikers, adventurers, campers, survivalists and even those curious. at the very least its a thick source of dire emergency fire fuel.

Generally helpful, but not nearly as good as other reviews might indicate.
There are some interesting and helpful points made in this book, and for the inexperienced and experienced alike, it will surely be somewhat helpful. However, this is an exceptionally short and brief guide (the book itself is literally tiny), and the author has clearly leveraged their time in the SAS to sell you this book. The information provided is very simplistic and in most scenarios not nearly enough to actually be of use. For example, there is one section about building shelter in the artic. In this section there is a (very rough) explanation of how to make an igloo. If you’ve never made an igloo before and aren’t currently in a position in which you’re required to make one, you might not notice how lacking the instructions are. If you were actually trying to build one based off of the instructions contained herein, however, you would surely fail. There are many other examples of this throughout, where the instructions contain just barely enough to function as a guide, but not nearly enough to be of any use to someone without prior experience. Simply put, I don’t believe anyone could reasonably use this guide to do much of anything contained within, or at least not without prior experience. If you’re already familiar with what the book describes, it can be a handy guide to ensure you don’t forget some important points. If you have no experience, you’ll likely learn some interesting facts that you might not have otherwise considered. I’d still recommend this book, simply because at the price of £2.99 there isn’t much harm in not getting it and flicking through it. On the whole, however, this guide achieves little for the average person who buys this hoping it will save their life in a desperate situation. You pay £2.99 for a book, and you get £2.99 worth of info.
