Second try followed the instructions and again it just dosen't fit right.

Nothing in this item description indicates this is essentially a precut PPF. Packaging exterior is in Japanese even though it is a Chinese product. Instructions inside appear to be in German or some other European language that is not English. Luckily this package came with two precuts so I decided to test it by applying soap solutions and applying it like a car PPF. I have prior experience doing PPF on cars so this didn’t take very long for me but YMMV. There is NO WAY you could put this on like a normal screen protector by just sticking it on. To apply: You would have to pop off the console cover (5 plastic clips around the black console trim) and unscrew 4 screws for the play/pause unit to come off before applying everything down. Spray mild soap solution on the cut out as you take off the protective backing and plastic console surface and then align the PPF. Squeegee out from one corner to tack in place then align the various openings squeegeeing through. Requires very minimal stretching to align and it is thin and easy to work with. Does not come with the spray bottle or a squeegee btw. The cutouts and coverage is very good when applied this way. They don’t tell you this anywhere so knocking 2 stars off. I left a photo here, not my best work but I did this quickly and it does the job to protect the piano black plastic for the price paid.
