Great little tool for the money.
It took me some time to fully get to know this tool, but now I love it. It nicely bridges the gap between trying to drive drywall screws with just a Phillips driver bit in a cordless drill and spending the money on a dedicated drywall screw gun. My project is going to take something like 40 sheets of drywall, and the adjustable Dimpler is durable enough to get my project done for sure. I had some issues understanding the settings, and while the numbers are a bit counter-intuitive, (#1 is the deepest setting and #4 is the shallowest,) it performs well. Use setting #2 99% of the time and you're good to go. I had some worries that the diameter of the tool would keep me from getting into tight corners, and it does to a certain extent, but it isn't the problem that I though it would be. The customer support is phenomenal, and the phone number on the back of the package really does connect you by text to somebody who wants to help and can help. The company says it's robust enough to do deck screws with a Torx bit as well, so I'll test that when it's time to screw down underlayment for my project floors. They even coached me that when it's time to replace the bit, wiggle the new bit in with a circular motion for best results. Well worth the $20.

Works great and is worth the money!
Works great!! Saved so much time and money. I have an impact and regular hammer combo drill from dewalt and this attachment worked perfect and I didn’t need to buy a drywall specific gun. I installed about 12 sheets on a ceiling and it worked great. I had a few times where it drove to far but it only happened a few times. Great for small jobs!!

Work great until it fell apart
It worked great at first but day 360 sheets of plywood later basically fell apart

Lasted ONLY 6 sheets of drywall.
Product lasted through 6 sheets of drywall. 32 to screws in each sheet, so approximately 192 screws give or take a few. Would not recommend. The shaft that connects to the drill spins, but the Phillips head will no longer engage. Something internal stripped.

Works but...
This dimpler does work great and it's easy to use on drywall for the DIY person. But don't expect it to last hence, the 3 stars. I bumped it on the doorway and it fell apart! I could pop it back together but as soon as I bumped it on something else it would fall apart. I think if I epoxy the part near the shaft it would be OK. But I shouldn't have to do this to a new tool. It's unfortunate that I didn't use it until long after the return window.

Perfect indeed
This is the stuff. If you just have to do a repair or two and don't want to invest in a drywall screw drill, the Dimpler does exactly what you need. You can drive screws into drywall to the perfect depth and it does it every time, and you don't have to try to "feather" the screwhead into the drywall or anything, you just let the drill run full speed and the Dimpler just disengages when it reaches the pre-set depth. It'll keep spinning as long as you hold down the drill's trigger, but it won't drive the screw any deeper than you told it to. Exactly what you want.Takes a while to find the exact setting your drill and your drywall and your screws need, so spend a bit of practice time on a spare piece. And always check the setting ring to make sure it's set to the depth you want; seemed like it could drift a bit after driving a lot of screws. If I was a drywall contractor, I wouldn't touch this thing, I'd get a real drywall drill. But for a homeowner putting up a few sheets, this thing is perfect.
