I never knew this was available, once I did, I ordered it immediately. You have to have a general idea of replacement of electronics is a big help.I know I save a lot of $$$ not having to buy a New Cell Phone. Very. Very Happy

I purchased a third-party refurbished Samsung Galaxy A71 5G phone and found out after return period expired, that it would not bring up "tap for USB options" when I plugged my phone into my laptop/desktop using USB cable. I tried using another cable, which worked briefly, but it kept connecting and disconnecting, and then eventually it would only show the USB options all grayed out. Finally after a week or two, even this would not pop up in notifications and would only show "charging". As both Windows and Linux didn't see the device, even with USB debugging enabled, I knew it had to be a hardware issue. So, I was so glad to have found this seller that had the same part for my phone, a model SM-A716U1 Galaxy A71 5G.It took about an hour to repair. I laid the phone under our wood stove to warm it up and then used an ifixit website how-to to remove the back cover, which was the hardest part of the repair.Make sure you don't get the sticky border sealant in the USB C port area, which happened to me when I put the phone back together. I had to disassemble it again and get the goop out of the way when inserting the replacement charging port. I'm so glad this problem is solved. Thank you to the seller! I just hope this hardware lasts longer than a few months as there seems to be a common problem with some of the Galaxy phones and the charging ports going bad. This was a pre-owned phone. Who knows what they did to it while they had it. Still, a bit annoyed that the third-party seller I bought the phone from didn't completely test the unit before they sold it to me. I should have known better. Glad to had done business with this seller. Thanks again!

Bought this board to address a loose USB port.After swapping in the new board the speaker does not work, swapping back to the original board fixes the speaker issue.Faulty board, and now i'm outside return window. Would not recommend.

Drowned my phone and the proceeded to plug in antenna wire backwards, which shorted out this board. Popped this one in and I no longer have a half-lit airplane mode. I have service again!

I had finally given up, and my A71 5G wouldn't charge up anymore. I looked on Amazon on which ones would work. These seemed like the best one for the money. (good thing it has come down in price.)I didn't use many of the tools provided because I have an IFixIt kit.Once you get the seal on the phone open. Just look up the "How to" replacement on YT and follow along.Once I got going, it really went smoothly. (About 45 minutes because I was triple checking, and taking breaks.)This will hopefully keep my A71 5G running for a bit longer. At least until T-mobile moves to 6G.

I had to use the point of a razor blade to get make a spot to get the tools under. Made sure it get it nice and hot to soften the glue. This repair was very easy because the plastic back on the phone is much more durable than glass backs.

Since I installed the charging board, people that I call are telling me that I sound very far away. I'm going to buy a differant board and see if it improves.

Quick swap. Fixed the charging problems and most annoyingly the "USB Connected" / "USB Disconnected" pop-up which would prevent the phone from going to sleep and drain the battery in a matter of a few hours.Will update if it doesn't last.
