Great machine!!
Love everything about this Tig welder, crisp ark, and not too loud. The cooling fans are pretty decent, the torch is very heavy duty, gets Hot pretty quickly but that’s what is expected for an air cooled 26 style. For anyone looking for a budget Tig welder, give this one a shot, it has all the functionality you’ll need to get great welds. Budget friendly, and if you are a long time Tig welder, it’s even better if you know how to use it.

Customer service is awesome
Provides a really smooth operation and is awesome on 110v. A lot of our work is on thin gauge material, 14ga, 16ga, and 18ga, and it has no problem operating at very low amps. Customer service is totally spectacular...not only explained my "operator error" but then stayed on the line for 20 m8nutes while I test welder a piece just to make sure. Have already ordered a second unit.

Everlast to Lincoln square wave 200 tig
I bought the power-i tig 201 in December of 2018. Worked pretty good for 6 years then argon would not come out of the torch. Called Everlast they told me that the solenoid was bad. Ordered part but did not fix.Must be a bad board somewhere. I can’t go back and forth with Everlast to try to figure out the problem. I run a business and need a running welder. Ended up get a Lincoln square wave AC/DC tig. Wow what a difference. Much better arc with the Lincoln and I can get it serviced close by. No guessing game as with Everlast.

Do not buy!!!!
I bought this welder in November of 2015, since then I have attended welding school learning the new trade. With all the AWS test requirements for all positions using this welder on the stick feature I could weld in all “F” and “G” positions back to back with no issues. I have use the TIG with the pedal a few time and no issues, very smooth. It performs well against the top names. I recommend this welder to anyone.UpdateTowards the end of 2018 I was have issues with the welding performance was lagging. When welding stick it was make a sputtering sound, the tig was off also. I have notice sometimes when powering on the machine it would power back down. The tech did try to trouble shot over the phone no help. I FEBRUARY the weld was sent to service, in 30 days came back to me with the same issues. Again over the phone trouble, went back to the service. 2 months later after calling them for an update they told me it need a new command board. It’s now August and still now welder. I replaced with a top brand welder.

High Frequency Is terrible
It welds, and has quite a few features but the high frequency is abysmal. It fails to start an arc 1 out of every 5 times and the HF has to be adjusted constantly to get a decent start.Decided to try this after my similar eastwood crapped out. The eastwood (and my millers and lincolns) will strike an arc from 1"+ away. This one you have to be within 1/16 or so to get the arc started.Tech support was useless and told me that all welders do this and it's normal. It's not. We have 5 tigs in the shop and this is the only one that has any issue striking an arc.Build quality is very low (to be expected it's cheap)I'll be scrapping it and ordering another eastwood.
