It’s convenient to have for now
I use both of the alarms for inside my vehicle. As it is not like a real loud security system like a regular one but it’s a for now thing until I can afford a real car alarm + installation. But it do sounds off real loud with you open the car door. It’s also a memory to remind yourself everyday that you got to press “unlock” before you open your door or else it’ll go off. The motion detector is sensitive so it do gives off like 2-3 warning sounds before the alarm go into full loud mode. I’d say it’s for nearby things sucks as bikes, near a window of your home or wherever you prefer. By it being inside my vehicle I wouldn’t hear the alarm from afar when I’m in the house or out somewhere so just so you know.

Not Just A Bike Alarm
I put one of these on my daughter's room door so my boys stop sneaking in and stealing. Alternatively gave one to my wife for her purse so the same boys stop going in her purse. The alarm is sensitive and lould.

Read this for important info on adjusting sensitivity.
I compared this to the popular round window/glass alarm and this is pretty much similar except you can arm it remotely. To decrease sensitivity even more, you can double up on the double sided tape to absorb the impact therefore help decrease sensitivity. Besides the remote and angle sensor, there's one more difference worth mentioning. This alarm has a two stage activation (warning/full activation). The first stage or warning stage, the alarm will activate for 3 sec, then the siren will be deactivated. The alarm will continue to monitor and if the device is bumped again within 10secs, the 2nd stage is activated and sound the alarm for 30 secs. After 30 sec, the alarm will reset itself much like any other alarm in this category. Siren is as loud as others as well. This little nifty alarm is worth every penny. The plastic does feel cheap but it's adequate for my use. I'm using it on my garage door. The battery door is difficult to open due to the lack of raised plastic so your thumb can grab onto but can be easily solved with something flat like a flat head screw driver. The battery life is to be determined as time will tell but after messing around with the alarm for a full hour, the battery dropped from 1.56 to 1.54 volts. Also, batteries (2 AAA) are readily available compared to those hard to find button batteries other devices require.I may get the water proof version to use on my fence gate. Perhaps the seller can send me one as a thankful gesture to this wonderful review (wink ;) Hopes this information is helpful for anyone looking at this item.Included instruction is a little hard to follow but if you can read been lines, it's pretty simple. This alarm is fairly simple to operate just like any typical key fob really. It's understanding how it works and the mechanics of the sensor is what determines the success of the product. The sensitivity adjustment is the only thing you need to adjust and this info is not included in the generalized included instruction. It's better to refer to the instruction provided in the information block or under questions and answers but... it's a little misleading or inadequate when it comes to setting the sensitivity.Follow the provided directions to enter and adjust the sensitivity. It's fairly simple really... with the alarm deactivated, hold the off button for approximately 6 secs but you don't have to actually count. Just watch the blue led on the remote to come on and then turn off for a sec or two then come back on but again. You can release the off button at this time. To adjust and move through the ten sensitivity levels, just press the doorbell button (bottom button with a picture of a bell). A beep will sound to confirm each level. The most sensitive setting is represented by a long beep. All other levels are confirmed by a short beep. Here's where it's gets confusing.Just remember, when you hear the long beep, you're at the highest sensitivity setting (say level 10). Every beep after will decrease the sensitivity by one level...so think about going from level 10 and going back down to level 1 where it's the least sensitive to vibration and bumps. To set it to the mid range, listen and find the long beep first. Then press the bell button 4 or 5 times. Press the off button to confirm and exit. To set it to the least sensitive setting, again... first find the long beep. Then press the bell button exactly 9 times (9 short beeps). If you hear the long beep, you know you went too far. Just remember to confirm and exit by pressing the off button. The led light will turn off.To recap, the long beep is the most sensitive at setting 10, and the least sensitive setting is just before the long beep, at 9. The layout of the setting is a bit confusing and I believe this is why the product is getting negative reviews of it being too sensitive. I've check the levels and sensitivity levels are set accordingly but the alarm must be mounted properly. Due to the design of the tilted sensor, it's ideal to mount the alarm flat (horizontally on it's back) or standing straight up vertically on it's bottom or top sides (the round speaker locate at the front top side). The angle sensor works like a leveling bubble but uses some type of free rolling ball or some sort and if the alarm is tilted, the ball will roll to the end and set off the alarm. The alarm must be mounted so the ball stays in the middle and away from the end to work properly.Hopes this helps for people looking to buy this alarm or help dissatisfied customers better understand how the alarm functions.

Waste of time.
This thing is a cheap piece of junk. Don’t expect it to work very long. It’s not well constructed it’s made out of cheap plastic. The instructions are terrible and I can’t get two remote controls to work with it. I’m throwing it away.

Very LOUD.
The product instructions states that there’s 10 levels of sensitivity… I have yet to locate how to control that.. remote battery is difficult to access. Product also states that there’s an adhesive on the back of alarm so that you can stick it to your vehicle… That’s was a LIE as well 🙄😩

Very Good Product
So very easy to use! Place these by a window, door, anywhere you want to know if someone is where they shouldn't be entering your home or office. They work by vibration. So, if you place one at a window and the window is closed, if someone tries to open the window, the alarm will sound. If you place one by a door and the door is opened, the alarm will sound. It is pretty loud. But, it is also battery operated. Before setting the window alarm, be sure your battery is in good working order. I am ordering more! Hope this helps.

Works well it's not a total solution but for 16 dollars it's totally worth it. This is the second time I bought this product. Easy setup as well.
