I attempted to install it with two other people, and it was still extremely challenging. After struggling for hours, I found that the best installation method was to first secure two screws on each side of the range hood at the desired height. This helps hold it in place while you install the four required screws at the top. Alternatively, using cabinet jacks would make the process much easier. The Hauslane Chef Series Range Hood is an excellent product.Well worth the money.I don’t know of any other range hood that has a feature that allows you to clean the fans. And the power, wow, this thing sucks up air like crazy and it’s still quiet.HOWEVER, I would drop the rating by .5 because the darn clock looses 1 minute every month. Ya, my wife says I’m anal but really in this day and age the clock should track. But when the clock on the stove and the clock on the hood are always different it drives me crazy!I ordered another clock display board and replaced it. IT does the same thing!So I solved the problem. Took out the clock display board and covered it with electrical tape. No longer have the issue.Still love the range hood!

This hood vent is an excellent choice! I can now grill indoors without worrying about the smoke wafting through the house. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that the fan is a bit loud at full throttle (but entirely tolerable in my opinion) and the installation was a very demanding task due primarily because of the 46ib weight. Another slight drawback is that the built in lights focus on the back burners of the stovetop. I would recommend this fan to anyone who likes to grill in the winter months.

Excellent range hood!!! This range hood has excellent power and really sucks the smoke and steam from cooking. It looks amazing and easy/convenient to clean. Feels solid and well built. Would highly recommend!!!
