Very good product
Lightweight Shovel for what I needed it for , really comes in handy for mulch and other jobs around the yard . I rarely see snow here and this shovel works great for leaves . Very sturdy Shovel quality:Wide opening and versatile

Excellent
Now that snow season is just about past us, hopefully I won't need this again for a few month. But the few time I did get to use it I can say it's well built with heavy duty plastic. I liked that the blade edge had a nice edge on it. That allowed me to get under some ice in places. Some shovels the edge is to round... good to cut through snow, but not good enough to get down to bare concrete.

You can't break this shovel unless you run over it
This item is excellent especially when you are scooping something off of asphalt or concrete. It glides across it whereas aluminum catches and drags and real bad. Hard to scoop things up with it whereas this one is perfect for the job. I'm very satisfied with this scoop. Shovel

Bigger than expected
HUGE! Like this is for larger projects. I ordered to help build sandcastles because beaches do not allow metal shovels and needed a bigger one than the normal sandcastle ones. However this was 3x the size of what I expected. It was very durable and was still able to use but just know it will be big.

Ames Is The Best Shovel Brand
Ames is the most reliable manufacturer of farm quality shovels. I have had a previous Ames shovel exactly like this one for over 10 years, and finally it developed a crack in the plastic shovel, and I continued using it to clean out horse stalls for several months before it finally broke all the way through, and I had to go in search for another one. I am so pleased with Ames shovels because they are well made, and demonstrate that they are made of quality materials, as they don't bend and break like other less superior products. If you want a shovel that will last a long time, look to Ames

Great scoop shovel
Second scoop shovel by this company. Very useful for yard work not just snow!

Very light weight.
Very light shovel, yet very sturdy. We have a mountain cabin and we needed some extra help with snow shoveling. The other shovels we have are heavy and they leave marks on the wood if we are not careful. This one is just perfect for me as a 5 feet 2 inches petite woman. My husband is happy that I can help out!
