Fixed my AC
Going to go do my do-diligence as a consumer and write this review for those who are also having absurdly weird car problems that aren't easily diagnosable .Turning on my car, the radiator/AC fan on my 2013 Mazda 3i would slightly twitch, then stop moving immediately after. AC would just blow, and not blow cold until I was at city->highway speeds, where proper airflow was going through the rad. Saw some people mention stuff about temps being weird.. my car doesn't have a temp gauge, so I haven't been able to see if that would effect my car at idle, but most probably it did. OBD2 reader on my car gave P0480 code, which led me to the fan control module. Before buying this part, my brother and I quickly wired the fan directly to the battery, and it span just fine, quickly leading us to the fan control unit...Buying this fan control unit, and quickly swapping it out with my old one yielded successful, and my cars AC now works, and the fan properly spins. This was cheap and not first party, so the durability of this part is questionable still, but for right now... my car has functional AC that blows cold, so I'm happy.Written 10/6/24. If I run into issues I'll be sure to update this for future readers!

Fixed fan running issue.
I have a 2012 Ford Focus and the radiator fan wouldn’t the off after the car was off. It also turned on at random times when the driver door was open?? This part fixed that issue and the car is back to normal.

Works well...
I was a little unsure about getting this little gadget because it's not from Ford. I own a Ford Focus SE 2012. It worked perfectly when I hooked it up. Time will tell if it lasts. But for the price of what they wanted for the Ford brand I was willing to take a chance. It works. That's all that matters. If you're on the fence, take the chance. Mine is working just as it should. Cheers

It just plain works
Say what you will about knock-off electronics, when they work and do what is intended then they are well worth the money. I only just realized that I've had a bad control unit for about 2 years... and guess what? droF <-- doesn't sell them unless you buy the fan too. No luck with Bosch either. anyway, it got the job done and I haven't had any - and I mean ANY - temp fluctuation from normal since install. For this price I did actually buy 2, and I'm still WAY better off than some of the overpriced hacks that I saw while searching. and I bought this specific one because it was literally the only one with *any* reviews. I'm only giving 4 stars because it hasn't been long enough to determine its longevity, but if it lasts a year I'll have gotten my moneys worth and I'll come back to update the review.

Poor quality. junk
The control unit stopped working after less than 5thousand miles. No good at all.

Worked on a 2009 Taurus
The high speed fan would stay on even after the ignition switch was turned off. There is not a separate relay for the fan. The relays are built in this fan-mounted module powered by the PCM. After realizing this in the wiring diagram, I decided to perform a tap test. I got the engine warm, the high speed fan turned on, and I turned off the ignition. As the fan ran, I grabbed a wrench to tap the module. One tap, the fan turned off. I replaced the module with this part and the concern has not occurred since.

Great product!
The item arrived three days ahead of schedule (all the way form USA to corrupt, virtually non-existent-postal-service South Africa) - very impressive!! Installed it in my car (quite easy installation), and my Ford Focus ST's thermo fan has been quiet ever since (like it should be) - no unnecessary turning on and off, etc. It seems that because the fan was coming and off at the wrong times, and not keeping engine cool as it should be, it caused my engine to go into "limp mode", temporarily...quite scary - I thought I had major turbo issues!! But, all good now. Will definitely buy from this seller again...!!

Worked perfect in Mazda 3
This CU was bought for a lady in a different country when the control unit is not sold individually as it comes integrated with the fan, making it prohibitively expensive.Fortunately she was visiting and took it with here after a super fast delivery by Amazon. After installation, the cooling fan no longer keeps running and draining the car battery.Installation was made by a third person replacing it in less than 8 minutes.
