Better taste, more convenient packaging
I tried this after going through the non-flavored one. These are more convenient to carry because they only fill 8 ounces of water, not a liter. I guess it does wind up being more expensive but the flavor and the convenience are worth it for me right now. I’m so much more likely to add one of these to a glass of water than I was to find a liter or use half a packet at a time. The flavor is more palatable too. In the future, I might get some powdered lemon flavoring to add to the traditional ones and save some money.Anyway, these are great. They hydrate right away. You can feel the impact. They have everything you need, and nothing you don’t. No more dosing sugar just to get your electrolytes. I think they’re reasonably priced compared to full bottles of liquid, and they would be easy to bring and carry-on luggage for a flight. There are so many uses and I’ve added them to my first aid kit.

An essential for basically everyone
The essential - made slightly tastier. This is not gatorade...it's not sweet-sweet. It's mildly sweetened and mildly flavored. Note that the flavored ones are a bit of a gimmick...they're only good for ~8 ounces rather than 1 liter for the non-flavored. Good for kids, but I don't mind the non-flavored stuff at all. This is where sports nutrition should be at...low sugar, low carb. This stuff is a lifesaver (literally, in certain cases). It has a passable, slightly salty taste with no sweetness at all - it's all about getting what your nerves and muscles need to be healthy and in top shape. To that end, it works perfectly for a variety of purposes from cycling/running to treating nausea/vomiting/diarrhea. I literally don't leave the house without a few packets in my bag.Personal testament: While in South Africa, I went to a brai in Kreiger with some friends and the next day went down with the worst case of food poisoning in my life. I'm talking eye-watering, nearly black-out nauseous, full stupor, looks like a movie where a character has been poisoned by assassin unknown, thought I might actually die in South Africa stuff... I combined Trioral with DiaResQ and eventually some protein powder and was able to skip the hospital visit or worse. This stuff works.

Taste is just ok, box was raggedy
Arrived in a dirty box that looked like it had been riding around on the floor of a car for a while. Taste is just okay. Would prefer Gatorade or Pedialyte over this product for taste and for price.

Live saver after gym crash
I know it's wrong but things happen. Went to the beach and didn't feel the heat due to the wind. Didn't hydrate the whole afternoon but had coffee and went to the gym. Workout went great but after 20 mins got really dizzy and stopped. Had a full blown crash. Came back home and literally guzzled down 40oz of water and added 3 glasses with the trioral each. Kept drinking water throughout the evening and felt better after 3h. I keep this near my gym bag now and have used it for travel and after drinking before. Highly recommend it, needs to be part of a first aid kit.

Great electrolyte drink w/o artificial sweeteners
I keep trioral in constant stock in my house. The flavor is really mild, and the fact that you can get the equivalent hydration as you would froma liter of IV fluids with just an 8oz. serving is a lifesaver for when I am both dehydrated and nauseated, which happens all too frequently in my world. My husband finds that using it to take his daily fiber keeps things moving along really smoothly, so we both swear by it.
