Medical grade use only-works well-compression at this level is SNUG (and should be)
this is a MEDICAL compression stocking, which is what I need! And it works and fits great, follow their measurement guide. It is meant to feel snug and be difficult to put on. Use rubber gloves to assist you. It should not go on as easily as a "regular stocking" . If it does, it is probably too big and not doing the job. The thigh high should not have wrinkles or excess room in it as that may cause binding. The thigh high is typically used post surgery or for long travel and only if you have medical need to compress your entire leg area. I hear complaints of "it's too tight or small" , it is supposed to be 'tight', it is meant for medical compression. For people with varicose veins or circulation issues or surgery, not for 'hosiery use'. it is designed to increase blood flow and help prevent clots, if you do not have a medical need for it, then you may feel they are uncomfortable. They should not be, it actually should feel nice and gives you more energy in your legs, most people purchase these per doctor recommendations like me. Know your size and need for it and you will be very pleased. Also know your 'firmness'. I need firm (which is snug) due to my particularly ailments, most people probably go for 15-20 mgh..which is on the lighter everyday use side. If you go 30-40, make sure you have a need for it or you may be unhappy and have difficulty putting them on and off, but again, it shouldn't be that easy. And use of rubber gloves helps a lot to put them on and off

Quality
These are great stockings at half the coast! They work just as well as the high price ones! Especially when you have to wear them every day.

Comfortable, thin, tear easily
I really like these in terms of the fit and feel, and I feel they work well for me (POTS), but they tear really easily, and for something I have to wear all day every day, I go through them quickly, which sucks.

Great product.
I was told by my doctor to get a full leg compression hose to wear after my surgery. He recommended 20mm-30mm. I ordered 30 mm. These are not made for weak people to put on. I struggled the first few times putting them on. However, the support these hoses gave me was phenomenal. I had severe bruising, and I credit the support of these hose, with clearing up the bruising earlier. My doctor said it was perfectly fine. I went with these hose, but people my age tended to struggle to put them on. But he added the thicker the better. Again, I am in decent shape, and I struggled getting them on. But they were well worth the struggle.

Got a run on day 3
I like these stockings and they fit well, but the third day I wore them, I got runs on both of them and I'm not sure how. Bummer because the compression is nice.I'm 5'6 and 145 lbs and the M fits great and comes all the way up to the top of my thigh.

Solid and tight

Don't buy Truform
This stocking was terrible. I went to a medical supply store with certified stocking fitters. I had measured myself correctly and purchased the right size based on the product chart, but this stocking fit poorly. It started rolling down my thigh after 2 days use and was terribly uncomfortable. The store told me they used to stock Truform but stopped because of the company's poor quality control. If you have to wear a compression stocking like this one, it is worth it to spend more on a quality product that will fit well. I can't believe the different between my new one (not a Truform!) and this one.

True-to-Size and All Important Compression Rating
These are 30-40 mm hg and feel like it.The heel and legs line up nicely and they are true to size. Love the open toe.Of course they are difficult to don without an aid and those take some getting used to, but are well worth it.So many other cheaper compression socks are simply not accurate in their compression ratings which becomes obvious after wearing ones like these that are. Don't try to skimp if you are ordered 30-40hg, just pay the piper and get the real thing, otherwise you are wasting your money.

Excellent & medical quality
High quality. Bought for post scleroptherapy use. Doctor commented they were amazing quality and cheap compared to most in-store brands his clients use. He couldn't believe I got them from Amazon.

True to size
My Husband needed these and I was very happy to find them at Amazon at this price. They fit well, although they might be 2 inches too long, as he he is now only 5'10" so he has shrunk lol!

Sizing is about right
I needed compensation hose after having sclerotherapy done so I ordered this product, I ordered the size small (according to my measurements) and they fit perfectly fine in the leg- But it was So tight in the ankle that my feet were swollen so I had to cut them off slightly above the ankle (I first tried at the ankle but still had swollen feet) I have plenty of room in the calf and thigh area and can pull them up as far as I can, it was just at the ankle where they cut off my circulation which is Not a good thing.
