So as any guy who shaved his head will tell you: it’s hard to keep your head warm in cold weather when you’re wearing a helmet! You need something that’s warm without being bulky. And being able to maintain visibility is critical. I’ve tried about eight different styles and brands of beanies, hats and liners over the years - and by far the winner is the 2SABERS winter beanie. And I’ll tell you why: (1) First of all it’s a warm, medium-weight wind-resistant fleece that covers your ears without impeding your peripheral vision; (2) It has a short visor which helps with winter sun and works perfectly under my helmet; (3) it’s a very comfortable hat; and (4) the hat is just really well made by people who obviously take pride in what they do.

Being bald can suck, mostly in the cold months so I’m a huge fan of beanies and have many of them in various colors, material and styles. This will definitely be my go to beanie for winter hiking and any occasion with cold windy conditions. I ordered the medium size and it fits nicely. It’s a little stretchy so doesn’t constrict my head and it’s very soft to the touch even after washing it. I did a 2 minute speed dry and hung it up to dry out completely. Over drying it in hot temps will probably ruin it so keep that in mind. It’s very lightweight and warm so can’t wait to see how it handles the great outdoors when the temperature gets to the single digits. I always keep options depending on the weather but, hopefully this will outperform my expectations. I especially like the ear flaps and the cap bill should come in handy for snowy conditions. If you want the ear flaps up, they fold up easily and stay in place so no worries about them getting in the way if you want them up. I look like a total dork while wearing it but, I’m not about making fashion statements, I’m all about comfort and practicality lol. Also, keep it away from hook and loop Velcro type stuff or it will probably destroy the fabric. I’m going to order the tan/brown one next!

I bought 2 of these, one for me, one for hubby, 2 different sizes & colors. These are warm and well made, but are not stretchy--different from most fleece winter hats. So, it's a little hard to get it down over the back of your neck and ears. So, it's important to get the right size (a stretchy version could be a one-size-fits all, or maybe just 2 sizes, a S/M and L/XL).Biggest problem for me is wearing mine over a ponytail, since it doesn't stretch, it's hard to get it over the ponytail "bump" (an option with a hole for ponytail would be nice). I have a very small head and got the small size; a medium might be too large and come down over my eyes (a frequent hat problem for me).We definitely like having a bit of visor/brim for sun protection while recreating in winter, which is why we got these: a regular sun hat is not warm enough in winter, but a regular winter cap doesn't block sun. When I was searching online for something like this, there weren't many options for a hat with these features (warm, covers ears, has a brim/visor), looking not just on Amazon, but several big sports retailers, plus walmart and target. The knit versions I saw had many complaints about the brim/bill/visor poking through the knit, and that doesn't seem likely with these fleece hats. Some other versions were very bulky or didn't really seem to cover the ears.Overall, we like these hats; they're warm, comfortable, not too bulky, and are much better than another brand we also tried. We've worn them for outdoor recreation a couple of times. I also like that these support Ukraine (didn't realize when purchased, but product insert indicates that).

Love, love, love this thing! So much so that I bought one more for me, one for my husband and one for my brother-in-law. Super soft fleece. Great fit. Great coverage. Warm. Don’t hesitate, but it. You’ll love it. I wear a 7-3/8 hat and the large fits great.

I love the fact that I can get the baton using one hand which makes it easier for me since I had a stroke and I don’t have the use of my left hand to do much of anything before I bought this hat I required assistance to cover my head so it would get very cold when the weather was cold but now I can stay warm and toasty the hat has a nice retro military look to it and it is made to fit under a military helmet so it can probably be used with other headgear as well I think t might work under a hard hat if the hard hat is really big the hat came with a limited lifetime warranty and the company will replace the hat if it ever fails due to the materials or workmanship it is also made in Ukraine and I loved the idea of giving my American Dollars to A Ukrainian company especially one run by a guy who is a former member of the Ukrainian Military Ukraine must be freed

This hat has been great! We live in New England where Winters can be brutal. This hat is soft, washes well, and is made well. It didn't get pilly, and the fabric didn't stretch out. My husband appreciates the brim which keeps the Sun out of his eyes while doing winter chores. This is a great lightweight, warm hat. Will be purchasing more for gifts this year.

i got the medium size but it comes smaller than that , the material was not great . i guess it keeps the head warm and do the job if you just need it to do some yard work in the winter

I ordered one of these and love how soft it is. I wear a 6 3/4 size hat and the small fit me perfectly and keeps my ears warm...and the sun out of my eyes.I wore it in temps of 10 F and it kept me warm!
