Great for fraying fabric.
Great bottles to use when sewing. They keep fabric from unraveling. I use this item after I serge seams together. A bottle last a long time. I'm happy with the product.

Fraycheck stops fabric from raveling.
I made a quilt with several panels, which were loosely weaved, so I put fray check around all the edges to be sure they would not ravel and ruin the quilt.

Good
Lil stinky so you should use it in a well ventilated area. Bought it to seal the fraying edges of tiny little doll clothes, and it works well for the purpose and has dried without being too noticeable darkening of the fabric.

Love the Liquid - Hate the Bottle
This stuff really works. I needed a way to stop the edges of my Aida cloth from unraveling, especially when I have to cut it really close to the floss. Fray Check did the trick. I ended up applying it to the edges and onto the floss, let it dry, then cut the edges even closer. Because I’m a worry wart I applied another coat after the cutting. What impressed me was the fact that it didn’t cause the colors of my DMC floss to run. If you’ve ever used super glue or white craft glue you know that they cause the colors to bleed a bit.It darkened the cloth when wet but dried completely clear, as you can see in the pics I’ve included. The fabric remained flexible, there was just a slight stiffness that I think will relax with handling. They are not joking when they tell you to use it in a well ventilated area only. That smell is chemically, strong, and horrid. Thankfully it as it dried and two days later the smell is completely gone. The only negative is the bottle itself. I couldn’t get a pin through it so I cut the tip off. Due to the design, I had to cut low just to reach the liquid. Sadly, even cutting as close to the top as possible it still allows too much liquid to escape. Over two applications I covered a grand total of 17 inches of edge line. That used 0.05 ounces of liquid out of 0.75, yes I weighed it. (My undiagnosed OCD made me do it). That is 6.7% of the bottle used! For 17 inches! Waaaaay too much is coming out and I was really trying to control it. So it looks like I will be shopping for a fine tip bottle to transfer the Fray Check into ASAP.Overall I love it and will definitely buy again - when I need to refill the better bottle I plan on buying!

Great for knots and seams.
I sew and make stuff that uses knots. I use this product to finish off my seams. I dab it on the fabric and then iron it to solidify it. It does leave a little sheen but I’m not bothered by that. That may be caused by the heat transfer. As for the knots, it seems to harden them which holds them together. It can get a little peely on the hands, kind of like a thin layer of glue, but cleans up easily. Definitely a staple for feeling good about the longevity of my products.

love it
Very helpful for quilting where the stitches might not be secure enough. Leaves a slightly rough, stiff feeling to the fabric but no color.
