After trying two other safes that neither were "right" for storing medications to keep out of reach of loved one with dementia, I finally found this one! It is perfect-super easy to set code / open and close and heavy enough to let me know it is sturdy!

First things first: this is clearly not a high security safe. If that's what you're after, you're going to need to spend a lot more money. What this safe is ideal for is keeping things like guns away from young children—stuff like that.What I'm using it for is a metal fire containment box for my LiPo drone batteries. It's rare for them to catch fire, but it can happen. This box is made from steel, and should contain any fires, should they occur. In the event of a fire, the mounting holes will prevent the box from pressurizing and becoming a bomb.Setup was easy, and everything is working as designed. As long as your expectations are on par with the design of the product, you'll be satisfied.

This is a great budget safe/lockbox for keeping valuables organized and away from wandering eyes.Easy to set up, able to be bolted into the wall, and I have had no issues with the passcode. I tried to mess with the lock for about 45 minutes when I first got it to see if I could pop it open, but it seems fairly sturdy and the door can't be wedged open. The wall-bolt system obviously needs to be put into a sturdy stud or concrete/brick, or you can just pull it out of the wall, but it seems fairly sturdy. Overall, no qualms with the safe.Anyone expecting this safe to be completely fireproof/waterproof and impenetrable has unrealistic expectations. You will need to expand your price range more than 3-fold to find anything like that. For what this safe is, it's a great value and a good way to keep valuables/private items from laying around in the open!

I would not keep my gold bars or cash in it but for ammo it is perfect for me. It's well made easy to open and setup and access contents. It's not to heavy and fit perfectly in my closet. I bought this safe in the summer of 2020. Five years later the key pad stop working. I swapped out the original battery's that came with the safe for a fresh set and turns out it's not the battery's. The key pad my have problem. No a major issue since i can still open it with the provided key. And if i loose the keys then a small crow bar should do the trick. Overall not a bad safe for the money and will buy another as long as the price is still low and not jacked up by tariff's.

Perfect size, large enough to protect most of my jewelry and other personal items. Compact to hide away out of site. Fits right on my closet shelf. Love the option to mount if I want. Very sturdy and well built. Confident in the security of this item.

It is not a vault or a safe by any means. But, it is a good lock box. It is sturdy and easy to use. It has a key just in case the battery stops working or you forget the combination. The price is reasonable and it shipped right away. Great job.

I was looking for a small safe for a bookshelf, I've had a little problem with petty cash being taken from envelopes in my desk drawer. I bought about the least expensive combo-type safe I could find on Amazon, really just to send a message to whomever was pilfering. OK, it gets the job done, the cash is locked up and the message is clear. Batteries are included, as well as two keys to open the safe if the batteries have failed, setting the combination was a snap and so is opening the safe, I really like all that, 5 stars. It may look imposing in photos but it's not, it's more like a child's toy. The handle is plastic and jiggles back and forth, the box walls could be smashed with a hammer and I think a strong human with a big screwdriver could force the door open. If you don't need to lock up anything really important, this will be a very good value for the money. Definitely don't think of it as a handgun safe.
