I love this lamp. It replaced a similar lamp that I had. It was relatively easy to mount on the wall. It has a long outlet wire and it plugged right into my wall socket without needing an extension cord. Very satisfied with this product. Highly recommend it.

These are wonderful lights. I am impressed with the quality and beauty of these lights. Although the instructions did not include info on how to wire the lights if you were using them as corded lights (rather than hardwired), I found it easy to put them together and install (<30 min per light). The cord surprisingly very long and heavy-duty, so you could use them in many places, but you may need a cord camouflage if you hate to see cords.

The brass is a deep gold color, not like that super bright modern brass that is hideous. Also, the arm of the lamp can swing 180 degrees, meaning that the bulb can point down (as pictured in the Amazon photo) or up, as I wanted. The black cord is fabric and pretty hefty. It will stand out against a white wall, whether you want it to or not. Because of the old-fashioned fabric sheathing, it actually looks rather handsome in a steam-punky kind of way.

Added this to modernize my industrial style half/powder bath. I am using two Edison bulbs and it's a bit too bright for the small space - not a bad problem to have - I can just change the bulbs out later.Like all lights, it's tough to install alone. Having to hold it up with one hand while connecting the wires is something I tend to get impatient with, but it really is normal (both for the challenge and the impatience haha). I ended up using a piece of twine to hold it up until I got all wires connected, then cut the twine and pulled it out when done. :)As for those issues I've read in other reviews, I don't have any of those problems. If it wobbles, pull it down and tighten the nuts on the back of the light - better yet, save yourself the headache and do that ahead of time - nothing should easily spin before hanging.Silicone or plastic ring melting...did they exceed the bulb wattage? I think the ring is a nice touch, it really helps from cracking the glass when installing the clear globes and a lot of lights don't have this nice feature. But if you are worried, I suppose you can just take the ring off.As for European vs. U.S. installation, there are color codes and instructions for both wirings.As for not able to attach to the wall box(?)/electrical box, mine did just fine. It screws in nicely with two screws/washer/nuts, and they even give a third screw...As for cheaply made - omigoodness I absolutely disagree. It has a great finish, the glass is perfect without lines or imperfections, the rubber right where the glass globes attach is a REALLY nice touch and to my pleasant surprise, the arm that holds the globes - it rotates (via the wingnut) from down hanging, to upward, then if you wanted, you could hang it vertically on the sides of the mirror like a lot of modern design is now doing.HIGHLY recommend this fixture. GREAT bargain. Designer look for a fraction of the price.

These are much cuter than my old lamps. Being able to rotate them for reading is great. Very functional.

I love these lights! There was an issue with the shipping and the seller was so great with communication and got back to me right away and got the issue handled. I believe the color I have is “antique”, it’s the brass/gold color. They look vintage with the Edison bulb in it. I love that I can plug it in and control the on/off from the fixture instead of the switch on the cord. They are perfect for either side of the bed and highly recommend them!! The boxes they arrived in were so well put together and the directions were self explanatory.

Great looking sconces that were super easy to install compared to running new wiring. Just need to level and pre-drill holes for the molley bolts, put in the molley bolts, and screw a few pieces together. Be careful with the neck of the sconce though, it breaks easily if you move it around when the nut is snug tight.
