Product looks good on screen but the quality is not even close to the price. The box is uneven on a flat surface, the flip out boxes vary in opening from fall open to difficult. The price is higher than others shown which should mean a higher standard but that is not the case. This product should be in the $20 range. The finish is acceptable, the sewing machine stencil on top is done well, and the box is lined. But over-all, you may be disappointed in quality for the price. It is very small, but then, the dimensions are clearly noted on the product description. It is better suited for a conversation piece than a practical sewing box.

The box is small but if you do just small repairs then it will fit everything - except a large spool of cotton here in the US. The lid will not close properly on a large spool. I think it’s way too small for someone doing serious sewing. You’d never fit pinking shears, sewing scissors, cotton, an assortment of buttons, etc., in this. But as a “stitch in time saves nine” kit, meaning something to hold what you need for catching threads before everything unravels and sewing on buttons, then it’s great. Just don’t buy the 800m - 876 length spools. Disappointment will follow if you do! Don’t bother with this if you actually sew. It’s too small by far to be an option. But for repairs then it a good size and is beautiful.

I ordered this box with high hopes. The first one they sent the compartment didn't close all they way plus the box warbled back and fort. It clearly was defective. This is a joke for a price of $48.00 don't waste your time or money. It is extremely small and not sturdy either. I had to drive it all the way to the UPS store to return it which cost me time and gas money. I have no intentions to try again for the third time and drive it back to the UPS store again ! Learn from my mistake and pass on this tiny box that is way overpriced.
