Very good quality chairs. Hinge hardware is quality. Wood and Canvas are quality. Good thick stitching on the canvas backs. Nice black paint. The surface finish is much more smooth and refined than other chairs I have purchased in the past. I will buy these from now on. Great value.

I use this chair for giving Reiki and T.T. It’s a perfect height for me and comfortable for those I’m working on.

The chairs looked great, but the canvas seat is so tight (and they admit that in the assembly instructions!) They indicated that if it was too tight putting the canvas on you should try sitting on it to stretch it out. My friend did that (not a huge guy) and the wood legs actually cracked and split, completely destroying the integrity of the chair.

Product came fine in the package though I wish they used an appropriate sized box. I also wish that it was noted that this would be a fixed footrest. Having it be something that is screwed in would be fine to keep set up somewhere but since a large majority of the way we would use this product would be to have it easily on the go and not have a potential for temp hires to lose pieces in transport. In the description I wish it would note that the footrest is a variation of the standard design but I'll take that L.If you try to return, the seller wants it shipped together and you'd be responsible for shipping, which again fine, but they sent them separately and in boxes that were a little too small for the individual product. I'm going to trade this with another group for as it would be better than eating the cost of trying to find an appropriate box and paying for shipping back for refund.

First let me say that I like this chair a lot, I've always been a fan of director's chairs and this one's pretty nice. It's not as nice as one I used to have where the back rest was larger and actually swiveled, but oh well, that was a long time ago. I plan on using this chair as an occasional chair only in my studio apartment, and for that purpose it will be ideal. It's substantial and heavier than I thought it would be. The color of the wood seems true to the product photo, but the red canvas seating and back are pretty bright! I still like it though...What I'd like to tell you though is my experience with it straight out of the box. It was easy to set up the seat and back pieces, but I couldn't get the braces to lock in flat. Not possessing great upper body strength, I tried different approaches without success. I ended up using my rubber coated hammer handle, standing and pushing down with my whole weight on the braces. I knicked my pinky the first time, and now I have a bruise, so be careful if you have to use this method.The frame had several little knicks and mysterious tiny holes here and there, so I used a furniture scratch repair marker to disguise those. The sliders on the feet weren't to my liking as well, so I unscrewed them and replaced them with cup sliders for carpet use.All in all this is a great chair, it just needed a tweaking...

I bought this for doing makeup in during the “Getting Ready” phase of my wedding day and it worked out perfectly. It’s very sturdy and I read a few reviews saying it’s hard to snap together but that wasn’t my experience at all. I put this together myself in about 20 minutes and most of that time was me just unwrapping the pieces. It’s not too heavy but also doesn’t feel tippy or cheaply made, it did the job and I couldn’t ask for better!

One chair came w/o the holes drilled all the way through on the foot rest and the other came with the holes not lining up.Our neighbor drilled holes for us and the chairs are fine except for that. Glad we had a handy friend to help.
