Murder Most Puzzling: The Clairvoyants' Convention 500-Piece Puzzle

I did another one similar to this one. There is no "picture" of the finished puzzle, so that adds a level of intrigue. And then there is a mystery to solve. I am still working on the puzzle itself. It's a great group puzzle (especially the mystery part).

I enjoyed this puzzle, as the clue offered halfway through really helped me to solve the mystery when I completed the puzzle. It was challenging but not so hard that I couldn't figure it out at the end. I especially liked the packaging, which included no plastic whatsoever. The story was printed on the inside cover, the pieces were contained in a paper bag and the solution was printed on a folded piece of paperr, which I liked, because I could comfortably read it while sitting in front of the puzzle instead of holding it up to a mirror as many mystery puzzle solutions require, as the words are usually printed backwards at the end of the mystery story. All in all a very enjoyable puzzle. I would order from this company again.

Had to take a star off only because the cute book box came a bit damaged. It was bent and a bit squished and could have used more protection while shipping. It was a gift- my sister in law loved it! Such a fun idea.

This colorful, whimsically illustrated puzzle is well-designed and low-stress. I love the mystery element. And unlike other comparable mystery puzzles, this one isn’t gory. There is one other in the series. I wish there were more!

Wasn't familiar with the brand and there were no reviews, so took a chance and was pleasantly surprised.Decent quality/thickness cardboard, and they did interlock nicely but not enough to be able to easily move larger sections around. Which is annoying when you don't know the image and will likely have to rearrange sections as their orientation is discovered. Smaller sections move well though. Minimal puzzle dust.Pretty standard piece shapes, but has no issues with pieces fitting together that did not belong, so pretty unique cut. Didn't want to spoil the image, so just included some of the piece shapes and example of how well it interlocks.Image ended up being nice and busy with lots of interesting things to look at, as well as distinctive colors and sections making for a fun puzzle experience. Took me about an hour and a half including sorting. (About normal for a 500 pc puzzle for me.)The story and subsequent mystery were brief but added that extra bit of interaction to the puzzle that makes you stop and really admire all the details in the final puzzle image you may not have noticed while puzzling. I also like that it included a hint before you reveal the full answer rather than an all or nothing kinda thing.The box shape/design is a nice touch and would make a nice gift, but the lid doesn't seem to stay closed super well despite it being slightly magnetic so it snaps close. So storing it vertically would be a risk if it didn't come in a convenient resealable bag. (Which it does, and I always appreciate.)Will probably pick up the other in this series soon. Hope to see more of these in the future!

I won’t post a picture so as not to ruin it for everyone but the puzzle was missing an end piece. Super frustrating after spending hours putting the puzzle together. It did not take away from trying to solve the mystery though. It was fun and challenging to put the puzzle together with no idea of what the final picture would be. We never peaked! (There is a paper with the picture if needed) I would order another puzzle mystery with the hopes that this one with the missing piece was an anomaly.

We bought this as an activity for a family night with our adult kids. They took to it like a duck to water, entered into the spirit of the thing and really seemed to enjoy it very much. I was dubious about not having a picture to guide us on putting together the puzzle, but if anything that created more of a sense of working together. We didn't finish it in the course of the evening but they're planning to come back and finish it another night soon, and that'll be fun, too!

The puzzle is enjoyable to assemble, presenting a moderate level of difficulty. The inclusion of a murder mystery element enhances its uniqueness and provides an engaging experience.
