Bright Baby Touch and Feel Winter

Not very 'touch and feel' but s nice a little book
I have given this a three, because it's not as 'touch and feel' as you would expect a touch and feel book to be! There's no story, just pictures with a word of what they are. That said, it's a nice book to teach toddlers the words for things, and for just over a pound, it's a nice one to have out around Christmas time :)

Not really touch n feel but still ok
I was expecting this one to be like my daughter's "on the farm" and "baby animals" touch and feel books, but like all others said, only half the pages have texture, and it's pretty piddly. That being said, my daughter loves it (she's 14 months). BUT. After my 10th or so read through of the book, I have come to notice and appreciate that not all the words are nouns. You have "skiing" and "skating" which are verbs, prompting you to make good sentences when describing the picture to baby. And there's "cold" at the end which is an adjective (the girl in the picture does not look cold though, she should be making a brrr face). It's not what I expected, but it's still not a bad book and my daughter wants me to read it to her 100 times a day. So there's that lol

Perfect for baby with a short attention span!
One of my twins absolutely LOVES this book (well they both like it, but one REALLY likes it)!! So much so that a lot of the paper and colour are worn off from the corners from her always trying to chew on it. It's bright and colourful and short and simple so you can get through the whole story before baby gets bored or annoyed with sitting still. The book is very short, just a few pages with one "Winter" word on each page (bird, fireplace, skiing, etc.). She really likes the little furry patch on the chickadee's chest! I used to give the book to her to hold in the car, but as I said, she is now starting to chew the paper off of the corners so she can't have it in the car or in her crib anymore. So it's a great little baby book, but not tough enough for super slobbery chewers (not that it should be!) so wouldn't leave baby alone with it.

Not really "feel"
The front cover is the nicest part. Only the bird and the snow flake are really feel things. A couple other pages are shiny and the rest are just weird photographs of people. Definitely not what o had in mind when buying a touch and feel book with a cute cartoon on the cover.
