We did not like this support. Sizing is off. My husband measured very carefully. However, it seemed sturdy and well constructed. We had to return it. Long involved process.

This is a good, comfortable and sturdy knee support. It fits well - Medium for a size 14 woman - and doesn't roll or slip while I exercise. I use this for doing step which means a lot of knee bending but it doesn't move.The only downside is that the washing instructions recommend removing the silicone supports before machine washing - which make perfect sense. However, there is no easy way to do this other than to unpick the stitching! This means the only way to clean it is to hand wash which is not a problem but, for an area of the body that can become quite sweaty, the odd tumble in a washing machine for a deep clean would have been preferred. For this reason, it's a four-star review rather than a five.

I'm disappointed to be giving this knee support such a low score. I've used the Neo G open patella support  Neo G MEDICAL GRADE OPEN PATELLA KNEE SUPPORT 'breathable design'  which is bulkier but very effective. That really helped resolve some pain I was having with my knees, which I put down to instability especially when running.Having got over the worst of it with the bulky one, I wanted a more comfortable knee support to wear when driving, as this has been causing me some pain and discomfort. I opted for the Neo G Airflow Plus+ because it was the same brand, had mostly good reviews and seemed like it'd provide better support than other 'sock'-style supports. I've now had this for 2 months as I wanted to give it a good test run, and whilst I haven't worn it every day I have used it enough to feel confident in my review.The problem I have is twofold. Firstly, it doesn't stay up. I measured as a Large which I found surprising but I went with it based on reviews and answers to questions on the product. I've found that the lower portion of the support which is below the knee grips my leg well, perhaps even a bit tightly, and the top section feels fine, but transpires that it is actually too loose. I have what I'd describe as fairly normal-sized legs, and in proportion, and when I first put on the support it feels like it's the right size, any smaller would probably feel tight, bordering on uncomfortable.The result is though that the top section of the support keeps slipping down and doesn't stay in place. This is equally bad when exercising as it is just wearing it around the house, so it's not caused by excessive movement.I'm considering asking for an exchange to test the Medium but I'm not sure if the seller will allow this after 2 months of use.The second problem is that I just don't feel it provides any real support. It doesn't seem to make the slightest difference whether I'm wearing it or not. With the medical-grade one I had with the open patella, I could really tell it was helping and my knees got better from using it.My advice would be to think carefully about your requirements and also sizing. A man in my mid 40s, I started running about six months ago; I’d (perhaps foolishly) got a place in the London marathon and so the preparation started. As soon as I’d got to any reasonable distance I started suffering pain in my right knee that the physio diagnosed as ITBS / runner’s knee (apparently quite common in new runners such as myself). Some recommended exercises helped but a support was also needed. Having first tried a few cheaper options which helped but didn’t really perform as a product (they’d sweat, fall down, lose tightness over time etc) this one has been a real success.It really supports, I suffer no knee pain either during or post-run, it stays up, feels comfortable (once into a run I don’t notice it’s there) and doesn’t seem to retain moisture. Some of it may be psychological but after suffering the ITBS pain I really feel more confident running with this support. It’s clearly a premium product, but from my experience I’d say it’s worth spending the extra to get something that works and keeps working.My knee measured 38cm so I was at the top end of medium or lower end of large. I plumped for the medium as I didn’t want something that could be loose, and it is a perfect fit for me.

Whilst this support is easy to use, it is not comfortable. Due to the size of my legs whilst not huge, necessitated me to buy XXL but whilst wearing it in keeps rolling down my leg, when the support starts to roll over itself it becomes very uncomfortable as it tightens even more.Its the most expensive support I have bought but it’s not the best.

Items arrived on time and well packed, only problem is the size chart not too helpful, I measured accordingly and they are a bit too big and I tried to send back but found they are non returnable, a bit disappointed as I have two that I can’t use, should have ordered size smaller. Be aware when ordering. They are well made and I’m sure would be perfect if the right size. I will try another brand.
