Best for beginners
The book is very good for beginners or anyone who just wants to read a Japanese book.Love how the book is divided in 5 parts for easy understanding. The vocabulary used is also very easy to comprehend. The stories are also very unique but few stories seem half ended.

Fun addition to your collection of resources
The Introduction section in Lingo Mastery's books always give them a more personal touch, that's nice to see.I appreciate the use of furigana and the way some words are highlighted and their meanings are given in the vocab section. The little Comprehension-style Questions at the end are nice too, not as intensive as subjective questions so they don't really break your flow. Of course, if you're into subjective questions it's always useful to make up some of your own and grade yourself.I like that they repeat a story and give paragraph-to-paragraph translations instead of just having one version alongside the translation. That kind of separation prevents us from accidentally reading the English translation and getting annoyed lol, but the repetition ensures that it's not as inconvenient as having to turn your page and find the right line every time you want to compare the two.If you're a beginner, reading Japanese in fairly large chunks does take some getting used to because of the lack of spaces like in English but once your eyes get used to it it feels just fine. The stories themselves aren't exactly riveting but they're not particularly boring either, they're like stories you'd read out of a children's book to pass the time and honestly I don't really have anything against that. Maybe being a beginner-intermediate learner (so not too much practice and familiarity) and reading in a foreign language contributes to the sense of "Oh these are nice"?All in all it's pretty chill, it feels like a fun add-on to your learning experience.
