I installed these on a 7 foot garage door, they were marked red/black for which side to use on. So far so good, had to replace old ones as one cable notch broke and cable would no longer hold in pulley!

Drums looked well made and worked perfectly. Don't see any future problems, hopefully they'll last as long as the ones they're replacing.

Better than Original.

It's been several months since I replaced the old ones. They are lighter than expected, so I want to wait and see if they hold up. I'm satisfied with this product.

Make sure that both cables are the same length when installing drums. The two set screws are both tightened at the top. One at 11 o'clock and the other at 1 o'clock. The cable slip-shod will appear at the bottom of the drum at 6 o'clock. This way the door will go up and down in a level manner when spring tension is obtained at 34 lbs. Use bathroom scales to weigh garage door at two locations, NOT in center of door.

Did the job. After, I drop the original drum when I was replacing a broken tension springs. The best part of all! - it can the very next day.

More affordable than bought locally and work perfectly. I recommend this company to anyone.
