what is this exactly? is this something i can mix with a bottle of water to make water carbonated root beer soda?

Hello Genji. This is a flavor mix that can be added to your sparkling water you can make with our SodaStream Home Sparkling Water Makers.

How many cups of soda can this make

Makes 7 to 9 1 liter bottles depending on how much syrup you use. And a liter is 33 ounces. So that's about 4 8 ounce cups per liter.so 28-36 cups. Depending on number of bottles you make.

If i want to use this with a can of seltzer........how many teaspoons should i put in?

I would this it would be trial and error, what I am sure of is not very much, put a little of the mix in it cap and pour into your seltzer???
