Q: Does it go to the bottom of bottle?

It is very thick lotion. I even struggle to put it in other bottles through a funnel due its thick consistency which i like that it is dense. However it does all eventually go to the bottom of the bottle after sitting.

Q: What is the diameter of the screw on cap?

As far as I can tell, it is about 1.5" in diameter. Tough to tell exactly, since it does not come apart and is delivered in 1 piece. The opening of the bottle that it fits is about 1.5" in diameter.

Q: I can’t get this to lengthen up in order to pump. I’ve turned it and it should have released, but it won’t. What am I doing wrong?

Keep turning, they are not a good product. I had to put a piece of tube I had around for access to the lotion. Mine came missing the bottom part and there were no refund or replacement options so I had to rig it. It does work but unwound have preferred it came complete

Q: Can the tube be cut to fit a half gallon jug?

I used this on my half gallon glass jug and it worked perfectly (no cutting needed). It does bends just fine to fit.
