Powers The switch 2—docked and otherwise!
Works to charge my Nintendo switch 2. Also can power it in docked mode. When used in this capacity, the extra USB port is very useful to charge controllers, other accessories, etc. I actually use it full time now to power the system and use the Nintendo charger for when I travel!I was a bit disappointed because this charger doesn't really charge my phone, Pixel 9 Pro XL , as fast as I was expecting, by that's ALL Google's fault for using an odd PPS input/voltage range... Something I am only really learning about after reading up on how fragmented the USB C standard really is because of corporate greed and lack of consumer protection enforcement. Something that was supposed to be simple with both PD and PPS, is a complete nightmare to navigate—and I'm tech savvy. Those without the knowledge are pretty much going to be left in the dust. At least Before Google would include a charging brick that wouldn't be compatible in the box but now they make you buy it separately even though the MSRP of their flagships is ridiculous...But the charger itself is extremely well made, works as advertised in the description on the product page, and for that I have to give it five stars even though It's not fully compatible with my phones. Fast charge profile.

Powerful for size & cost
We use the Tripp-Lite version(model U280-W04-100C2G) at work. When I found this identical charger under Amazon Basics, I compared specs and found it is the same unit at a better price (the Tripp-Lite was usually found at over $100.) The Tripp-Lite handles all my charging at work, which gave me the confidence to try this one.At home, the Amazon Basics 100W four port charger is used to charge all our devices including our MacBooks, an iPad Pro, iPhones, portable power banks and other devices - sometimes all four ports are in use. It has made all my older chargers obsolete.USB PD (Power Delivery) is a game changer; be sure to read up about it (see below.) This charger follows the USB PD Rev. 2.0 source profiles for USB-C. It does not do PPS (Programmable Power Supply) charging under USB PD Rev. 3 and up; it is a new protocol that not many devices use, at least not yet. Both chargers display several agency markings including FCC and UL. The UL certification for this charger is listed under E472287 for model B087MDYP24 as found online. Beware of using electrical appliances that are not UL listed, there's a lot of them out there. Keep in mind that claiming 'conforms to UL standards' doesn't count; that means it hasn't passed UL safety standards. So far, this one is a winner. No problems after several months of use, UL listed, compact size, powerful, multiple ports and a decent price. I recommend getting the 100W four port version because it works for many charging needs. I'll add updates with use. Some tips:• I've never had a problem with this coming loose from an electrical outlet. If this doesn't stay plugged in to your outlet, the problem might be with the outlet. Loose electrical outlets are a fire hazard!• USB-C Power Delivery is variable:- The device being charged negotiates what voltage and current the charger is to deliver. If the device is not capable of this negotiation, the charger will default to the older USB-A power standard.- Not all devices will be able to use the full 100W capacity of this charger. Our MacBooks can; our iPhones, iPads, and others like our portable power banks can not.- The power delivered depends on the connecting cable. Low quality cables can charge but not at the higher power this charger is capable of. For best results use a good quality cable.- The more a battery charges up, the less power it will draw. If you want to see a charger's best performance, start with a battery with a low state of charge.- Some devices such as my Apple Watch draw less power during charging when the display is active. Once the display turns off, the charge rate increases. Go figure.UpdatesMarch 9, 2023: 9 months along and no problems to report with this wall charger. It charges all our devices even with all four ports in use. We're now using it with a MacBook Air M1 & iPad Pro - both get charged quickly with no overheating. This still gets a strong recommendation.June 25, 2023: One year of use and this is my go-to charger. I still rate it five stars and I don't give out five stars easily.September 11, 2024: Two years along and this is still my go-to charger. It works great with our new MacBook Air M3 with the MagSafe 3 charging cable, charging at 100W as reported under System Information. It's an even better deal now that Amazon has reduced the price. Still recommended. :)June 25, 2025: Three years of steady use with no problems to report. One aspect I haven't tested is the input voltage as I've only ever used 120VAC - the charger label states 100-240VAC. This should be capable of use traveling abroad with only a simple adapter.I hope you find this helpful.

Perfect Charger for My Surface Pro—Great Port Options and Fast Charging!
I purchased the Amazon Basics 100W Four-Port GaN Wall Charger to charge my Surface Pro, as my previous chargers just weren't up to the task. I’ve had issues with other chargers not providing enough power or failing to charge my device properly, but this one has been a game-changer.The 100W power delivery is more than sufficient to charge my Surface Pro quickly and efficiently. I was initially concerned because I’ve had trouble finding chargers that can handle the power needs of my Surface, but this one works flawlessly. It provides a steady and reliable charge, even when I'm using my laptop while it's plugged in, which was a huge issue with my previous chargers. One of the features I love most about this charger is the multiple port options. It has 2 USB-C ports (100W and 18W) and 2 USB-A ports (12W), so I can charge several devices at once—whether it's my Surface Pro, phone, tablet, or other accessories. The USB-C ports are especially helpful for my other devices, and the 18W USB-A port is perfect for my phone. This flexibility makes it a perfect charging hub for my desk or when I'm traveling, eliminating the need to carry multiple chargers. The GaN technology is a big plus here. It allows the charger to be compact and efficient while still delivering all the power I need. Despite having four ports, the charger remains relatively small, making it easy to carry in a bag or travel with. It doesn’t overheat, and it charges my devices quickly without any issues.Another thing to note is the build quality—the charger feels solid and well-built, and the cables fit securely into the ports without feeling loose. I appreciate that it’s from Amazon Basics, as I’ve always found their products to be reliable and well-priced, and this charger is no exception.Overall, I am extremely happy with the Amazon Basics 100W Four-Port GaN Wall Charger. It charges my Surface Pro and multiple other devices effortlessly, and the ability to use several ports at once is incredibly convenient. If you’re looking for a reliable, fast, and multi-functional charger that can handle a variety of devices, I highly recommend this one. It’s definitely a must-have for anyone with multiple gadgets!

Fast charging the only problem it doesn’t stick firmly to the power outlet
I love everything from Amazon basics. The quality is amazing. It charges really fast. The price is great The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars it’s because when you connect it to the wall outlet it doesn’t stick firmly to the power outlet it always stays hanging a little so I had to use a small vitamin bottle to hold the charger firmly to the power outlet.
