Very slick
I like this little unit, it's very "007"ish. Packaged very nicely, shipped a little earlier than expected, very well priced. So, I'm not very computer savvy, and so I started reading the little manual that comes with this before I plug it into my phone, all these instructions were kinda intimidating...downloading apps, composing, sharing, deleting etc. got confusing, so I tried watching a couple "U-tube" videos, which didn't provide much help either, so then I was like "whelp, here goes nothing" and I plugged it into my phone and voila, step by step guidance !!, it was very easy, I didn't need worry about anything lol. One of my worries/questions was "once I select a photo from my phone to be copied to the thumb drive, will I now lose that photo from my library" ? I found out the answer is no, it still remains in my library.I like this unit and I'm happy with my purchase.

Fast and easy
This little flash is fast!! Best one I’ve ever used by far. Very few can be used with iPhone C cord and availability locally was scarce, so this was a welcomed commodity.

Didn't work, crashed my phone
Looks nice, plugged into my iphone tightly. I followed poorly written directions which were unclear regarding what the prompts were and what they meant. Finally was able to move a number of files onto the drive, then tried to view them on my computer- I was prompted that in order to view some of them I needed to pay 99 cents monthly for an app and some pictures were said to be corrupted. At some point, my phone crashed (first time ever) and I was not able to shut it off or do anything, after many attempts I finally shut my phone off and when restarted it worked but now I find out it will cost 8 dollars to return this disaster. Not a good experience. I am going to buy one from Apple.

Worked with IPhone 13mini
Ordered this 10/2/23 and first used it on 1/16/24. Mentioning because it travelled well in a booksack moving from hotels and riding offroad for work.Need: acquired up to 100 iPhone pics per day for work, so phone storage quickly became an issue; my iPhone(s) stopped communicating with my 2010 dell laptop, so i had no way to offload my photos.Task #1: Downloaded app per instructions, and in 27 minutes had transferred 5062 of 5068 photos/vids from my IPhone to the flash. (Not sure what failed to transfer, but I could have found out had i not been apprehensive about losing 119 gigs of information.)Task #2: Transferred to external hard drive. Left the computer, but it didn’t take as long as from the phone to the drive. 2010 Laptop immediately accepted the flash as plug & play — no drivers required; no prompts, just *poof* it appeared like a modern SD disk would.Synopsis: absolutely 5-star performance for my apple-to-MS application. Interface is intuitive. Can backup contacts etc as well. Paper instructions require magnifying glass and ink is blotted on 1-pt font…but PDF is on the drive. This product is a godsend.

Needs an app/ Gets hot quickly
One thing on the top that made me knock off 2 stars: It gets hot quickly. Safety hazard at best. Very concerning. So, this works! It did what I bought it for: my iPhone was having trouble getting all the pictures off and I wanted an offloading device so I could finally free up phone space and get it to my photo storage.Pros: Easily transfers files and you can delete them once you copy them - it shows where the files are and has a tab for the device and a tab for the phone so you can make sure the items are in the right spot before you delete them. It easily can be opened and downloaded onto a PC.Cons: It gets warm very quickly. Thankfully I didn't need to leave it plugged in for a long time, but if you do- Don't get this! I was concerned about how hot it got and how fast. It does what I need it to do, but it's dangerous if you need to leave it plugged in.You need to download an app on your iPhone to get it to work. Once done, it works easily, but some reviewers on the app were very unhappy with certain things. The app is called "JD Memory" with an anchor-looking picture for the icon if you want to look it up before purchase.I put 3 stars for value for money because honestly, anything hooked up for that short of a time warming up that fast is concerning and definitely needs work. But again, it works for what I need it for, so I am keeping it for now unless it gets worse.
