It's noise cancelation abilities are phenomenal and communication is clear both ways. As far as the weight goes it's very comfortable on your head.

This item is really good at noise cancellation. Sound quality is very good i can hear myself and the instructor well. There is slight static at times but not bad and it doesn't interfere with anything. I think this is a good quality headset or the price, especially for a student pilot not ready to make a large purchase. It exceeded expectations.

These are not meant to be top of the line headset and are subpar to even David Clark style headsets. However, these do work and I use them as a 4th set if I take non pilots in every seat of my plane. My passengers have not had any complaints yet. The cords and wind buffer are nice materials and the headset does not clamp on the head too much.

As a fresh student pilot, I finally decided to purchase a headset. I honestly strayed away from this headset because of the price; however, I did my homework, read reviews, watched video reviews, and I'm so glad I made the right choice!Everything is heard clearly, the headset is comfortable, it adjusts easily, and it's priced very well..... especially for us student pilots that are paying out-of-pocket. When I first used the headset, I noticed the stock foam ear seals made me sweat more and the noise cancelling wasn't that great (as it was stated in nearly every review). I read the reviews and it was recommended to purchase the gel ear seal kit to make the noise cancellation much better and less sweating. I purchased it and I stalled the new pieces and it made a huge difference! Basically, everything I read in the reviews were spot on. I did read the ear cups were hard to switch out, but I didn't have that problem.Basically, this is a great starter headset or a headset for passengers. It's not Bluetooth compatible, I can't plug in my music or anything, and that's completely fine. The last thing I need is another distraction as I'm trying to maintain altitude while doing a turn. I overall, this is a great headset and I would recommend it to anyone!

This headset worked for a good part of my training early on but I’d have some trouble hearing ATC clearly. Definitely sturdy and reliable, but not something I’d recommend for the long term. Awesome to have around to take friends and family up in the air with though!

I needed a very cost effective pair of headsets so I took a $99 chance. While you would believe the phrase “you pay for what you get” would apply,It doesn’t. These headsets are fantastic for students, novices, backup sets, and for many more applications. I have asked my passengers if the noise was too loud or the comfort was a bit compromising and I received “No’s” from every single one of them. What else in aviation costs less than $100? Try them out, you will not regret it.
