Great scanner antenna. It's been working very well

I have a Uniden BCT15x Scanner was not picking up without any Antenna at all, this is super cheap but immediately started picking of a decent amount already. Obviously helps having it closer to a window, or in my case like actually through the window and hanging over the top of main window hallway down the out side of window made big difference.

Seems to not work well in the front of a Jeep. So I ran the cable to the rear, overhead, and have it on the rear roof. It has been working as well as could be expected for a mobil scanner antenna. Perhaps front window install for vehicles other than JEEPs is possible. The JEEP canopy of not metallic so reception is good for me.

Behaves more like a dummy load than an antenna. The original scanner antenna works way better, and I wasn't happy with that one. Thought putting this one in my window would make a big difference; but, nope.

I purchased this for my home. The price was right, but it only gives me a very slight improvement in reception on my scanner. I expected better, but then it again, it was very inexpensive.

I placed this on my garage door opener, it helped extend the range. Now I can come in hot into my garage because the garage door is open before I hit the driveway. I do not condone coming in hot though, it is not advised, more on that later if you know what I mean

good antenna for my scanner, works as it should... no hiccups.. It'll do till I get my outside antenna up and running...
