This was just a quick addition to my granddaughter's Christmas present (she was 9), but she absolutely LOVED it. It's been almost 3 years now and it still works and she STILL LOVES it. She has a little hiding place under her bed that sits on drawers. She filled it with blankets and books and this little light. She also has a booklight. This little nightlight though is constantly ON and still lights 3 years LATER even though she's 12. It's nice and squishy too, so good for very young children too. She's a quirky 12 yr old now, but since it's a quirky animal and not a babyish bunny or cutey puppy or something, it ages well into older years when they no longer want babyish things.

Purchased as a gift. Batteries lasted about a week with 30-60 minute use every night. Recipient has been unable to recharge because, though it came with a charging chord, she does not have the right block for it. She loves the soft glow, and the silicone material is nice for those who love textures. The slug is a nice weight to keep it upright and from falling off a desk or shelf. The timer is a bonus for those nights she reads her self to sleep. Seems it will last a long time!

I use this cute lamp in my classroom and it is so fun! Great quality for a low price and the battery lasts a long time.

I purchased this for my classroom small group table as a way to signal to other students that they may not ask me questions when the light is on. My students love it and are the ones who remind me to turn it on when our small groups begin. They even tell the other students that “Sammy the slug” is on so Mrs. Wehrung can’t help you . It is easy to turn off and on, my students love pushing the antennae together to control the light . Charging is easy. Mine did not come with a remote control, but it is easy r ough to turn off and on without one. It is very sturdy and provides just the right amount of light , without being too bright .

Purchased for my daughter who is a teacher. She'll be turning this on for 'quiet time' and it's just adorable!

I have bought this for most of the kids in my family ages 15-30! They all love something different about it. From the way you click the eyes together to turn it on and off, to the feel of it! Great gift!
