These are the real deal
These protective wrist guards are pretty intense. They feel great, although they are tight to get on and off. Hopefully that will get easier as they wear in. I like having my finger tips available and usable. It seems like they will provide great protection in the event I fall. Cross fingers I never need to test them.

Great wrist protector. Well worth the low cost and are well built.
Great wrist protector. Have legit saved me several times. Well worth the low cost and are well built.I bought mine on Sep 3, 2022. It's Feb 7, 2025 and the material has finally expired at the edges of the palm support on both of them. After countless cycles of being drenched in sweat, dried, sprayed with Enbac, and then a few trips up to the mountain snowboarding, I'm finally on the search for replacements! For the price, I'm very very likely to just get another pair of these guys.

Love them in use; Hate trying to take them off
These wrist-brace open-finger gloves are top-quality construction and excellent fit. Have emovable reinforcing brace on top (back of hand) and well as on the palm side. I prefer them without the top brace installed and simply removed them, still leaving a thick piece of reinforced leather for abrasion resistance. Have a nice pull loop on the wrist end making them easy to put on. My only complaint is that they are very difficult to remove. Because they conform so well to the hand and have individual finger holes, they just about form a vacuum on the hand when trying to remove them and have to be worked off slowly by pulling each glove finger in sequence repeatedly to move them down millimeters at a time. If Triple-8 would add a second pull loop to the top of the glove in the knuckle area to ease removal, I would enthusiastically give them a 5 of 5.

Great quality
I wear them every time I inline skate. I took out the plastic inserts from the top because it makes them too stiff. My hands sweat a lot in them. They are machine washable. Overall great quality and can take a beating. I added black duct tape on the palms to keep the leather from wearing out.

Dual Splint Wristguards. Work Good but Wear Out Fast
I am on my fifth (5th) pair of these in four years. I get under a year out of each set. I skate 2-5 times a week, dependent on the season. Summer more, winter less. I wish I got more life out of them, but thinking about it, this isnt bad.The sizing seems right.I fall a lot and I still have functional wrists and fingers. These gloves work! There is excess dye in the gloves. Expect to have stained hands after use. Maybe lotion up your hands before putting on, to limit transfer.Eventually the threads between the fingers come undone, and the thin material holding the palm splint on will rip. Or the leather will start to delaminate. I will do a few repairs with the thin gorilla tape, but those will tear out, and then its time for a new set.

Well made, will save your wrists for sure!
Excellent product. I was looking for a pair of wrist guards similar to the old school lazy legs brand that saved me countless times as a teenager skating. I held both pairs I owned very dear and they lasted a good 5 years each. I was thinking I would never find a good pair like that again...I was wrong. These are (so far) even better, if the stitching holds they should last for years to come. I have yet to take a spill and slide across the pavement with them (would prefer not to) but they seem like they can handle it. Lazy legs rest in peace, long live triple eight!Also...if your new to skating, these will definitely restrict movement where it feels uncomfortable at first, but that's the point...restricting movement to avoid serious injury. If you plan on skating frequently I personally feel wrist guards are the most important gear your going to need! Always wear a helmet also!!! But when you do break your fall you will be glad you didn't get a cheap pair.

Inconsistent Quality for Hired Hands Gloves
My first pair I had to send back to Amazon due to imperfections in the stitching on the fingers. Each finger should have a double row of stitching at the top. My first pair had fingers that were missing that second row of stitches, presumably due to misalignment of the material during manufacturing. The first pair - sized small, manufactured in 2021 - fit rather tight despite being my correct size according to the size chart. This is my second pair and I’ve worn them on three occasions this week. The stitching and material quality of this second pair is markedly better than the first. This pair is also a size small and manufactured in 2021, but fits perfectly. Unfortunately, the paracord loop near the cuff has already failed on one of the gloves.I really like the level of protection these gloves offer. There’s decent padding in the palm. The wrist plates seem durable and it’s great that they are replaceable. Overall this feels better than every other triple 8 wrist guard I tried, because it fits “like a glove”!I have to leave my review at 3 stars right now due to inconsistencies between items and the current issue with the wrist loop. I will update this review when I can further comment on their durability over time.

Good budget gloves
Easy to wear and fit my hands snugly. Have a decent grip and my normally sweaty hands feel good in them for hours of non stop usage.
