Easy to use, great picture quality
Similar to many people who works from home, webcam is now an important part of our work day. I purchased one of these awhile ago for my office, I liked it so much I purchased another one for my home office. It is very easy to install, one USB cable and that's it. The ring light is bright with 3 different setting. The quality of the picture has great accuracy for color. I DO NOT use the microphone, as I have another separate mic, I can't speak on the quality of that.It is also light weight, can be folded into a small unit. It hangs on top of the monitor, very stable.

Great little camera
Giving it 5 starts because of the price. The color looks weird sometimes but the ring light is a great feature. If you’re looking for a basic camera for remote work this is great and it’s very portable. If you’re looking for high quality video then I’m not sure why you’d be looking at this price point.

Great amateur camera for webcamming
Camera works great! Love the ring light feature, it is very bright so it works perfect in all types of settings. Obvious it's a small light so it can only do so much with lighting. I've seen some reviews complaining that it's not bright enough in a pitch dark room & I don't think it's meant to be. It's small but bright enough for you to be visible on camera.I'm giving this 4 out of 5 stars because as other people have commented, there is a very slight wiring high pitch noise that you can hear on video playback. I mainly use this camera for work meetings on Zoom & my coworkers have told me the video quality is great and they can see me clearly but not sure if the noise is heard when you're using the cam live. My niece used my camera to record a project for her music class, and when playing back the video you can clearly hear the high pitch noise. It's minimal but for someone like me who notices the small details it definitely bothered me and was not happy about the video playback quality.Other than that the camera is great, has a long cord giving you enough length to mount the camera wherever you'd like. The grip is easy to apply to any monitor or laptop screen but it does take some time getting used to it. Overall I recommend for teens or for adults who plan to use this just for webcamming. If you're looking for high end quality video playback, look somewhere else.

Works as intended
I bought this cam for class. Since I have virtual class, and need to do video classes, I had to buy a webcam. I wasn't needing to buy any fancy ultra high definition webcam or anything like that. Just something affordable, that looked good to at least capture me well. This caught my attention as it had an already included light. It worked perfectly! The quality of the camera was really amazing, as I mentioned before, wasn't looking for something over the top. Of course the product was plug and play. Just had to go to my settings to see Eid ti worked properly, of course this is for my sake. Definitely worth the price, if I ever need to get another one or recommended a webcam for someone, definitely going to recommend this one.

Almost great, but too much artificial smoothing applied to faces
This webcam is certainly better than the one that's built in to most computers, including the expensive Apple Macbook Pro that I'm using. But so are lots of other webcams that cost half as much as this one, here at Amazon. Is the PAPALOOK worth its price? For me, no. It uses excessive smoothing, that makes the face complexion look a bit phony. To understand the effect I'm trying to describe, imagine an older individual wants to look young again and has a mediocre plastic surgery face job. The effect is not quite as harsh as I've made it sound, but it's noticeable - for me, and for the other family members in my household.I also have a Logitech C615 (normally $40 or $60, but very hard to find during the pandemic). The PAPALOOK seems to be a bit higher resolution and less grainy, but also more unnatural looking - at least for faces. For the room decor behind me, the PAPALOOK is marginally better than the Logitech. Some people are giving the PAPALOOK webcam rave reviews, and their opinions are no less valid than mine. But for me, the PAPALOOK isn't enough of an improvement over alternative options to justify spending $80 + tax. So I'm sending mine back.

Works and not laggy however ring light has glare
The media could not be loaded. Okay I got this for if I ever go into streaming, or just to use for my desktop, I just wanted these two factors, it’s clear and captures detail on my face, and when it’s nighttime the ring light lights up my face, It does an amazing job of capturing detail on my face, sadly it picked up small pimples I had but not a very audible look on it, it wasn’t blurry I moved it around it looked pretty good, okay the only Con I would say this has is when you turn on the ring light, there is a glare on the corners of your screen/camera but I mean it’s a bright light RIGHT on the camera and it’s not a game killer, it still captures amazing detail on my face in a pitch black room with it but with the cost of a small glare in the corner, overall you CANNOT beat this price oh another con is definitely the microphone, I mean what do u really expect from a $20 webcam. Or a webcam in general.

Great camera adjustability, can tell if camera is in-use by an application.
This camera is fantastic and the pivot allows a lot of adjustability on top of the monitor. Colors were not blown out or over saturated. All resolutions are 30fps, but that should be OK for zoom or ms teams. No drivers are needed as the OS finds the camera without drivers on windows 10/11/mac.The LED light is decent and has 3 levels. The white color balance is about 5000K or 6000K which is OK and not adjustable. I love that it is a touch sensor, very easy to go through the levelsCAMERA ON INDICATOR: The "TOUCH SENSOR" dimly lights up when an application is using the camera! So you can tell if it is in use or not.It includes a tripod but i didn't use it.

Terrible camera
Terrible in a low light situation. If your room lighting is less than ideal, the camera's light produces a halo. I've had other ring light cams that work in all types of light, spend a little more and get a better one. I understand this is not a 4k camera but the quality in low light is a joke.
