Akaso Brave 7LEAs a professional architect, I have always needed site and existing condition information in developing projects. Over the years I have used SLR cameras and cell phone cameras and having to carry numerous measurement and drawing tools to get existing information. INow Ican use LiDAR scans and digital measurement tools to get accurate data, but the most important information is the subtle visuals that I can’t go back to double check on a unique item or condition. Photographs always seem to not be exactly pointed in the right direction, or didn’t get a specific issue cause of concept changes. Video provides a more detailed view of what is there, and can capture items that weren’t thought of as important during a on-site survey.In researching all the video cameras available, it was apparent that all cameras do not all have the features I wanted. The Brave 7 LE allowed me to get to a video camera that had the features I wanted at a fantastic price point,and with excellent quality output and ease of use,but even more appealing was the fantastic array of accessories available that allow me to use the camera the way I want. I have a monopole mount that allows steady movement and uniform height viewpoints, a small handheld tripod to allow setup on a surface and record client discussions and important design decisions.Saving the video files in the project directory allows effortlessly recall of forgotten content.The size and light weight makes data gathering easier and more accurate. The ability of the camera to update in connection with my iPhone app was an unexpected bonus. Some of the features that I was less than pleased with have been added and altered via online updates, great feature, and makes me feel this was a fabulous choice.My use so far has been beyond my initial goal. My daughter wants me to record important moments in my “life untold family history” . As II am not a great writer, I have decided to do a personal vlog on the camera to relate family moments that are long past. I think this is going to be a great way to address this task.

The AKASO Brave 7 LE is a great piece of equipment. I found this camera on Amazon for a great price and after reviewing it online and watching comparisons I went with this camera. I feel like this one takes beautiful video the playback looks like a movie. The audio picks up good sound. Just a all around great camera

With so many options available, I carefully compared features, delivery time, and my budget before choosing this one.I couldn't be more impressed! This action camera captures stunning underwater photos and top-notch video quality, making it the perfect companion for my adventures. Transferring files to my phone is quick and seamless, which is a huge plus. For the price, this camera exceeds expectations, offering features and performance that rival high-end models. If you're looking for a reliable, feature-packed, and affordable action camera, this is a fantastic choice. Highly recommended!A Couple of Cons:When the camera is in the waterproof case, zooming in or out isn't possible. Perhaps the remote could work for this if placed in a waterproof pouch, but I haven’t had the chance to test that yet.I couldn't get the selfie screen on the front to function. It might be user error, but after reading the manual and going through the settings, I still couldn't figure it out. If there's a solution, I'd love to know!I also purchased the 42-accessory bundle and have only used a couple of items so far. The wrist float worked fantastically, and the wrist camera mount was also a great addition. Looking forward to trying out more accessories soon!(Note: The photos in my review were only edited to zoom in, and the video was simply merged from two clips and played at 2x speed—no other enhancements were made.)

The media could not be loaded. Great little action camera. I have the Brave 7 LE and it came loaded with mounting accessories plus 2 batteries and charger. The camera did not come with an SD card, but I purchased a 128GB sd and the camera had no problem with it at all. This camera is very easy to use, especially with the Touch screen, very easy to get into the menu and select from the MANY different modes of operation. A BIG plus is the remote control, which I always used. It straps to your wrist and has 2 buttons, 1 for recording video and the other for taking a photo....VERY convenient as you can control the camera with ease without touching the camera. Even has the ability to make slow-motion videos..Love it!! I would HIGHLY recommend buying this camera, very reasonably priced and produces excellent quality video and photos!

My rating is for the Brave 7 and stellar customer service from Akaso. I originally bought the Brave 7 LE but was not impressed by the low light video quality, image stabilization, color rendering, and ability to deal with mixed lighting. However, the company offered to replace it with a Brave 7. They also answered all my many questions and followed up numerous times to ensure I was happy with the product - a rare event these days. Akaso camera model labeling can be confusing because the Brave 7 is not the base model and is actually a very different camera from the Brave 7 LE. The processor and image sensor are dramatically improved in the Brave 7, image stabilization is better, internal microphone is better, and the remote that came with it is far more solid, easier to use and connects better withe the camera. If you are looking at Akaso cameras - and they are hard to beat for the price - I highly recommend choosing the Brave 7 over the LE or V50 models because it has all the latest improved hardware in it. It actually takes rather good video with an impressive feature set.
