For five and a half bucks; super fast free PRIME shipping; and, easy to put on over my hat, scarf and winter jacket - this simple reflective vest is absolutely ideal for my needs. I can slip this on without a hitch and still access my hip and chest pockets easily to grab my mobile device or pair of gloves.The sides have a wide black elastic strap for movement which works great on my petite (meaning small and short) frame and 125-130 lb body weight. I wear a woman’s Medium and this doesn’t feel too big like I’m being swallowed by an oversized vest. It covers me well over my front, sides and back and makes me easy to see while walking.Due to my schedule, I usually go for a walk anytime between mid-late afternoon, which means I could be walking at dusk with the winter sun setting around 4:15PM. My neighborhood has no sidewalks or street lights although it has drivers who clearly drive way too fast and make me nervous. With this vest on, there’s no reason why they can’t see me unless they’re not looking at the street for whatever reason.I wore it for the first time yesterday mid-afternoon when I took my neighbor’s dog for a 30-minute walk. Most of the cars slowed down when they got close to me. If I happen to be out walking with or without a dog around sunset, I feel pretty confident most drivers will notice me and hopefully slow down as they pass me.I wasn’t sure what to think about this vest when I first saw it online. I still didin’t know what to think when I first opened the package and took it out to look it over. I tried it on at home and thought, yeah, this might do what I hope for. After wearing it out and about yesterday, I knew this is exactly what I need. I don’t need a zipper or pockets, I just need to feel comfortable with it over my winter clothes and mostly to be seen by whoever drives by me.For its low price with free PRIME returns, how could I go wrong? I didn’t. While its quality and stitching isn't great, it's an inexpensive piece of protective wear to help ensure my safety. I can’t speak to durability or how well it remains clean as I’ve only worn it once.Update: I've worn it countless times and it does its job - it keeps me visible while out walking which in turn helps keep me safe.

Great for walking dogs in early morning hours as well as in the evening. I have been stopped several times while walking dogs and have been thanked for wearing this reflective vest so they can see me. Does the job and I like that it is one size! One can definitely be seen!

Nice basic reflective vest for riding a bike at night. Much more visible than with lights alone. Reflective strips are nice and visible. The yellow strips are also nice as they add stability and make the vest more visible in dusk/low light conditions. It isn't very long, so I put it over my backpack; it's plenty big enough for that. The Velcro and orange material aren't the best quality, but I expected that. It's actually a little sturdier than I thought it would be. If I could make one improvement, I would put Velcro on the sides as well, so it would break-away if it got caught on something and make the size more adjustable.

The construction vest I purchased has proven to be a valuable addition to my work gear. Its bright color and reflective strips make me feel more visible and safer on the job site. It's lightweight and doesn't hinder my movements, which is essential for my work. The quality appears to be good, and it's held up well so far. I live in a small neighborhood with narrow streets. When I walk my little dog in the afternoon/evening, it is usually getting dark or is already dark. I wear my heaviest coat (which is black) when I walk her, one of my neighbors suggested that I get a safety vest. The G & F vest is perfect. The price is great, it easily fits over my winter coat and the colors are super-reflective. A great purchase!

Have been wearing this about an hour every day for early morning walks. Traffic definitely sees me. I don’t leave home without it. Has held up just fine for past 6 months.

I bought this to hike a 75 mile section of the Appalachian Trail through Pennsylvania over the Thanksgiving holiday. I was able to fit this on over a base layer, button down, and fleece while hiking. Every time I would put my pack on it would take a little adjusting to get the vest to lay flat and keep it out of the backpacks straps and hip belt, but not a big deal. My main issue was with the silver reflective strip that runs down the middle of the yellow. Its a different material than what's used for the yellow and orange parts. In 4 days of use wherever there was a contact point with the silver reflective strip and my backpack the strip had begun to wear away. This occurred on the shoulders, waist and sternum of the vest where my pack rested. Not a huge deal and I've used it on many hikes since then because the orange and yellow stand out very well during the daylight. It would just be nice to have a better reflective strip for dusk/dawn/night use.
