Should have bough this first
Simple and just works, no fuss no leaks.Wish this came with my kit and I would have been done the job for less and so much faster.Bought another one based upon a recommendation by a youtuber and in the comments of that video I saw a guy mention this one as "the only one that worked for me". Just wish i had seen that comment before clicking an affiliate link by the creator.

It worked! I actually got R-134a out of the can! BUY THIS ONE!
This R-134a can tap actually worked! It is simple, inexpensive, and works with the new self sealing cans. This actually worked! Note that if you use the ACME adapter you will need to remove the Shrader valve in the adapter. I have no idea why there is a Shrader valve in the adapter, but there is. This is likely why the tool to remove it is included. For those that may not be aware, federal regulations mandated that R-134a refrigerant cans now must include a self-selfing valve that shuts off the flow of refrigerant if the can tap is removed while there is still refrigerant in the can. The previous method had the can tap pierce the top of the can, and the tap had to be left on the can if there was refrigerant remaining. That was simple enough, and worked fine, but is no longer an option.I've tried another brand Self-sealing can tap, and the Interdynamics adapter that is supposed to adapt an older can piercing can tap to the new self sealing cans. I could not reliably get refrigerant out of the can with either of these. The can would be obviously full, yet no refrigerant would come no matter how many times I screwed it on or off the can, screwed the valve, or any amount of fiddling. This one works! It isn't perfect, but that is likely a result of the valve in the R-134a cans. I was at least able to get enough out of the can(s) to properly fill the AC system.Buy this one!! It works! It is simple, cheap and works.Just remember to take the Shrader valve out of the ACME adapter if you need it. The fill hose for my Harbor Freight manifold/gauges does require this adapter. Fortunately I already had an adapter that didn't have the Shrader valve. The tool to do this is included.

Good value self sealing tap
Works well with a standard ac gauge set for r134a. Be careful when shaking/rotating the can while adding, as the connection to the hose would get loose. I had to constantly try to tighten the hose since it started leaking a bit if I didn't.

Great tap for self sealing cans!
This is a great tap for the self sealing cans that are sold in stores in the US. It fit my manifold gauge set perfectly, which only came with the piercing style tap. I tried to find one locally but the pin wouldn't reach the valve in my can, where this one did.

Easy to use, comes with extra valve core tool & adapter and 1/2 adapter
Worked perfect charging my refrigerant with the new self sealing cans and my harbor freight manifold gauge set, only thing that didn’t fit was the yellow line for some reason harbor freight makes the high and low side lines on the set 1/4 and the yellow line 1/2 but this was easily solved with the adapter they included, was not flimsy, didn’t leak and worked perfect. You can’t beat this price and with the extra valve core stem tool it’s a steal! My a/c is so cold now it’s like the artic
