Durable and easy to use!
Extremely easy to use, used it to mend swimming trunks and it worked perfectly. Sealed nicely and easy to work with, not a perfect, but good enough color match. Nice for quick repairs!

Excellent and easy to use.
Excellent! The gear aid tenatious tape worked perfectly. I somehow managed to get a 1/2 inch right angle tear in the bottom of my Acothat 4 inch thick, self inflating mattress. The tape fixed it very easily and appears to be working perfectly. To be fair, I haven't used it since I fixed it. But, before I fixed it, I had to pile a bunch of heavy stuff on it just to keep it from self inflating while I drove home. Since fixing it, I used my pump to deflate it completely and it hasn't puffed up at all. There is a bit of a bump right where the corner type tear is. So, I put an extra patch on top of it for some extra strength. I've since read that a drop of glue before patching would help this. But I don't think it's more than a very slight cosmetic issue. Also, I found that when I tried to put the patch on, according to the directions, with the mat deflated, it was too crinkly to get a good seal. So, I did the opposite and put the pump on to blow it up. As soon as the surface was smooth and firm, I put the patch on and quickly turned the pump off. I got a perfect seal that way.I'll never camp again without this tape in my emergency kit.

Did a great job!
The tape is very durable. I got it in Platinum Nylon. I used it to repair holes and tears in the roof of my outdoor bench swing, which is some kind of canvas material. I was very pleased. I later ordered it in Sage Green, and it was much thinner, and flimsy. Although, the Sage Green looked like it would be durable as well, but not as durable as the Platinum Nylon, which is strange to me since they are the same price. When I worked with the Sage Green (outside), it was a bit breezy and that made working with it harder. Since it was thin and flimsy, it kept folding over itself, and I had to un-stick it from itself, which was a pain. Also, it didn't lie nice and flat and smooth like the platinum nylon. It had many wrinkles and buckles, which I didn't like the look of. But I suppose it will do the job of keeping the rips and tears from getting worse. The platinum nylon was thicker and seems more durable. It laid nice and flat and smooth when I laid it down. The platinum nylon is about as thick as duct tape. I wondered if I could just use duct tape and save myself some money (I spent a small fortune repairing this roof). But I read somewhere that duct tape is not meant for outdoor use because it's not waterproof. Anyway, I'm basically pleased with this tape. It could be cheaper though, since you only get one piece per package that is 20 inches by 3 inches. If you don't care about the color, I would definitely get the platinum nylon over the sage green. I can't speak for the thickness and durability of the other colors. Now, I'll see how long it lasts. I will update my review regarding this.UPDATE (10-20-17) Well, it's been 4 months since I repaired my canvas outdoor bench swing roof with this product and it is staying on beautifully! Both the sage green and the platinum. Not even the edges of the repair tape are fraying. And it's been outside in the elements the whole time (which really vary in Chicago). I also used some extra-strength heavy-duty duct tape to finish up repairing a few small tears, not wanting to spend the extra money getting more Tenacious Tape, thinking I could get away with it. Not so, the duct tape came off already, but not the Tenacious tape. I've decided that this product is worth the price. It looks like it will stay on forever. I upgraded to 5 stars.

Functional repair to Gortex ski/snowboard pants
I was able to use this tape to repair my Gortex ski/snowboard pants that I love. Over Xmas, I was at a ski area and someone mishandled skis and managed to swipe the edges across the back of my leg and left a 4"-5" gash in my beloved ski/board Northface pants. Doh! Used Gorilla tape for temporary fix (works amazing), but I got this for a long term fix and kinda match the color. This did the job, at least for the one day I've used them since. A couple of things to note:- The tape is thin, but strong. When you take off the backing, you need to be very careful in handling it because it will fold back on itself and be difficult to unstick from itself. Take your time.- For long tears, they recommend using tape on both sides. For my ski/board pants, the tear didn't go through the inner lining, so maneuvering a backing piece of repair tape between the outside layer and inner lining was completely impossible. With constrained access to the back side of the tear, and having wasted some of the thin tape trying to slide a single piece into the backside of the tear, I ended up using a set of four strips (like steri-strip bandages), starting at both ends of the tear and then working toward the middle. I then used a single large piece on the outside, effectuating a strong, two-sided repair.- I used *sharp* scissors to trim/round the corners, per instructions. Dull scissors will just mangle the thin tape.- This tape requires patience and care to make it work (which it will)- Color matching gets in the ballpark, but isn't exact. My wife made me feel better by suggesting my obviously repaired pants make it look like I'm a raucous shredder, who skis the heck out of my gear. I'm in my mid-50s. :-)

Purchased to repair soft cooler
Purchased this to repair a rip in the shell of my Yeti soft cooler. So far, the tape is working well. Sticks well to the different ripped materials (one is rubber). Color was also as it looked in the picture and was a good match. Tape is very thin so I may end up doing a second layer.

Best Gear Tape Around
Absolutely love this gear tape for its ease of cutting, versatility, and durability. The roll sizes that it comes in are incredibly convenient and the visibility / appearance once you patch your gear is nice.

It worked well.
Someone must have wanted only 10" and then sent it back The packaged looked a bit messy but I just thought it was because it came in an envelope bag. Well when I opened it up there was only 10 left". The roll was held close with a plastic clip. I needed to repair the tear so I didn't have time to send it back. Just a shame that I had to pay for 20" and only got 10".
