No electronics required, simplicity gives it value.
Big, bold weight scale readout. It does not lie; it tells you what you need to know.

Good for folks with big feet (Me); consistent results; excellent value. Highly recommended!
It's true what many other reviews say: you frequently have to "zero" out the scale because after you get off, it reads +/- 2 lbs. Even though I think this will stop happening as the scale is used more frequently, who cares? I can zero it out before I get on or, if it reads 2 lbs. when I get on, I think I can deduct that from my final weight without a calculator. The things most important to me are how easily my size 13 feet fit on the scale, and how consistent it is in showing my weight results.Well, my big feet fit with no problem (I don't wobble trying to stay on) and, stepping on and off the scale in rapid succession gave me the same weight each time, so it passed the accuracy test. That said, the scale is relatively thin and light which makes moving it about very easy. If you are a bit one who feels the need to "zero" the needle, it is very easily done with a wheel set into the front end (the edge facing you) of the scale. The dial is very easy to read. Some have mentioned that there are no markers for 5-lb increments. The 10-lb. markers are quite clear & well spaced, so I think most folks will have no issue noticing where the 5-lb. increments are (most of them are dead-center between the clearly marked 10-lb lines ...).I prefer an analog scale so that I don't have to deal with battery changes and, without my glasses on, I find it easier to read than a digital display. I think this is a good scale for the cost and I don't think it should be nit-picked or compared to other scales a 2 or 3 times the price. Most of us show a different weight on a daily basis (even at the same time of day). So if you are looking for a scale that your feet will easily fit onto, will give you an accurate weight on a daily basis, and will give you good value for your hard-earned dollar, I highly recommend this product. If you don't want to bother with a "zero-adjust" wheel and need to know your weight to the tenth of a pound, this scale is not for you. It's a good basic scale at a good basic price. End of review.

I am very happy with ordering from Amazon and with the bathroom scales I ordered.
This was my first time ordering from Amazon on my own (at 80+ years of age), so my review may be more about the ordering process. I was able to research products (looking for new bathroom scales) found many items to study and compare and then ordered what I needed and wanted. The whole process was easy. The scales arrived in excellent condition and earlier than expected. I have had it just a few days, but the scales works as it should, is easy to adjust, and seems to be consistent even if I move it around the floor. It appears as represented and I am very happy with it; and with Amazon. This old girl is learning new tricks-thanks!

My Advice is to Skip It
I had high hopes for this analog scale but it doesn't stay accurate and (at least if you have older eyes) even though the dial is large, it is difficult to get an accurate reading because of the shadow of the indicator. I think that for a while at least, I'll gauge my weight by the fit of my clothing. My advice is to skip it.
