Having now used these mitts for approx. 15 to 18 full rounds this is what I can honestly say. When you first put on the mitts, they will feel uncomfortable. They may almost hurt your fingers on the webbing. However, after time they will start to loosen up.THICKNESS: General padding is 2 inches thick. However, the total width is closer to 3 inches from the front of the mitt to the end of the padding. I don't know if you can count that so really its 2 inches.BALL GRIP: They said there is one, but you do not feel it. Personally, I would like to feel one, but your hand is nice and tight, so it won’t move on you.FEEL OF MITT: The Mitt is snug and does take time to break inTAKING PUNCH: This is cert more absorbent than my Title Boxing Doom Mitts which I highly recommend getting. Those can take a decent hit and has a nice ball in the middle, but they are not Air Mitts so do not expect major punchers to smash it. With the Farabi Focus Pads Air Hand Mitts, you can take so pretty good punches and not feel as much impact. These are the first Air Mitts I have ever used so I do not have anything to compare to. Overall if a heavyweight hit them, you have less impact than normal mitts and I do feel next to nothing from a Jab, Cross, Uppercut but the hooks I do feel more. From what I understand the Rival RPM 3 is one of the best. The only issue is they are 3x the price and always sold out. So, would I get these again. Yes, but don’t expect them to take as many hard hits compared to some of the better ones.

I love these mitts. I literally don't feel anything as a pad holder or the striker.

The pads work good and take away most of the impact from punches however the quality control is horrible one of the pads is 20% thicker than the other. The logo is completely crooked on one of them on the top and half worn out on one of them in the middle of the PAD as if someone's been punching it for 6 months. I do like the way they work though. They do their job but you can definitely feel and see the difference in thickness of the two pads. I showed these pictures to the seller and he said they don't look defective lol. After prying a little more they offered a refund or a discount on a second pair but I would have to send them back or exchange them in which case I would be waiting probably a month for another pair. They do their job really well though. I'm going to keep this pair and if they hold up at least 6 to 8 months I might order the second pair and hopefully the quality control is a little bit more up to par. They do feel really great in the hand. Also one of them has a palm ball that's really pronounced and the other one you could barely feel it. The only other good option out there I think is Rev Gear and I haven't tried those but they're also double the price.
