Q: Is the white truly white or does it have a gray cast?

Truly white. We used them as shelf liner. But they do not stick well we had to use liquid nails to keep them in place. Do not use on floors

Q: How many boxes will it take for a 10 by 12 room

Assuming it's a straight 10x12, you would need 120 tiles or 6 boxes. Add a seventh box in case you get some defective tiles, screw up a cut or the room is not square. To be perfectly honest, however, I wouldn't use these tiles for anything that will see any amount of usage for an extended period of time. They're cheap for a reason.

Q: Will these tiles bend without breaking on a floor of a race car trailer that has slight dove tail in the rear

Not a chance. The adhesive on these is pretty weak. I had to use spray adhesive to get them to stay stuck in places. I suspect that if you do manage to get them to bend - and stick - in a convex situation, you'll wind up seeing the low end pop up, or the tile will break at the point of the bend relatively quickly. You could try heating them, but I'm not sure that will end well given how thin they are.

Q: Do the corners of these settle down I prepared my floor the stick great however when I walk across the floor I sometimes feel the corners

I have noticed a pretty erratic application of the adhesive on quite a few of these tiles, thus the tendency to lift up or not stick at all. To bad because the tiles that have a proper amount of adhesive stick very well.
