Great value, fun, smooth and comfortable.
I recently purchased an ebike and I must say that I am beyond impressed with my experience so far. Firstly, the assembly of the bike was a breeze. The instructions were easy to follow and it took me less than an hour to put everything together. The ride quality of the bike is incredibly comfortable. The suspension system absorbs any bumps on the road and the seat is soft and supportive. I find myself enjoying longer rides than I thought I would on a bike. The range of the bike is fantastic as well. I can go for miles without worrying about running out of battery. The speed is also great, allowing me to zip around town with ease. When it comes to storage, the ebike is compact and can fit easily in my small apartment. This is a huge plus for me as I don't have a lot of space to store things. The best part of all is that the ebike is very affordable compared to other models on the market. I feel like I got incredible value for my money.Overall, I highly recommend this ebike to anyone looking for a reliable, comfortable, and affordable way to get around. I am so happy with my purchase and I can't wait to continue exploring on my new ride.

Good Starter E-bike if you’re looking to switch
In the market for a bike and on a fence for the e-bike. Wanted to give this a try since the range was interested in this one compared to others on market.Packaging is solid. It’s very bulky and requires atleast 2 people to lift but none of the components inside are damaged since everything is packed well.Assembly, this is the first time I’ve ordered a bike on website and had ti assemble it. Bought my last one assembled. The assembly definitely needs to be improved. It might be easy to follow for someone who assembled bikes previously but for a beginner the instructions are not clear. But glad most of the complex parts of the bike comes pre-assembled and only need a few assembly steps. Tools are included to ease the assembly process.Ride quality, the initial ride quality was really smooth. The accelerator jumps slightly in between when changing the gears but once i got the feel for it, it was great! The bike frame height is lower compared to the others bikes but the adjustment in handle and seat made easy.Overall, a good starter e-bike with a learning curve but, the experience so far in a week has been pleasantly satisfying.

DEFECTIVE MOTOR, Engwe will not respond!
Do not buy this garbage. I bought a EP-2 only 6 months ago from amazon and at just over a hundred miles the motor went bad. Cannot get a response from the manufacturer engwe to get a replacement motor under warranty after 2 months of sending them emails. BUYER BEWARE!This company clearly does not stand behind their product or warranty. Buy it if you want an expensive paperweight. Junk! This Chinese company is a scam. Do your research and buy something american made so you can have warranty services.Update: 3 months of trying to get a warranty through the manufacturer and amazon with no success. I now have an $1,100 paperweight. The Amazon distributor Big Fish will not respond for returns and engwe has given me no support. Amazon did not help me whatsoever after many calls with promises for callbacks that never took place.I would never buy a big ticket item again from amazon because they did not give me any support. I see after months of battling with Amazon that they are still allowing this Big fish distributor to sell the product even though big fish does not respond to the customer when there is an issue. Amazon should be sued.BEWAREI have also found that many other people are having the same motor issues and warranty issues with the manufacturer.

Best buy for the money
The bike is very well built, like a tank. The bike is heavy so even though it is foldable, the weight makes it so that you would only fold and store it if absolutely necessary. Once the settings on the controller are maxed out, the bike is somewhat fast. 22 to 30 mph depending on weight and road condition. Im 260lbs and I found that cruising along about 14mph and helping with peddling up hills will keep a charge on the battery for up to 20/25 miles depending on the size and length of hills, and road conditions. Driving it full speed ragardless of any conditions will drain the battery in less than 15 minutes. Out of the box this bike assembles easily and drives wonderfully but once I was able to buy certain things like a more comfortable seat, saddlebags, and other accessories, I've grown very fond of it. It's not the bike that I would have bought if I had planned on spending over a thousand dollars but for a little over 800 this is a spectacular buy. After 2 months of riding this ebike almost every day, I finally got my first flat tire from a piece of wood that cut through both sides. It went flat just as I was taking a right turn at 12 mph and it was all I could do to not wipe out. I called for a pick up and found the bike too heavy for one person to load by themselves which made me wonder why they made it a folding bike to begin with. I patched the tube and ordered a spare which cost right at 20 dollars. The only place that had the exact same tire was Wal Mart and luckily, like Amazon, they have free shipping. I generally ride anywhere from 1 to 2 hours and when I get home I either have a completely full batterry or one bar missing which I hate. It would be better if there was a percentage meter. That way I could get a better sense of what drains the the battery more and what helps save it. When I first started I was going everywhere at 20mph which leads to ghost peddling and the battery was draining pretty fast. I then started staying at about 15mph and peddled if there was a hill which helped the battery life even more. Now that I have built some leg muscles, I peddle on flat surfaces and up hills and drive around at 10 to 12mph. It's the perfect speed for not ghost peddling and being able to enjoy the scenery. If I'm just running an errand and not having to worry about saving the battery then I will crank my bike speed settings up to 90% of max and haul a$$ all of the way there and back at speeds from 20 to 28mph. I hear a lot of people in the reviews complaining that this bike won't go that fast but that's because they havent gone in and changed the setting on their controller. I maxed mine out and set my speeds up for 0-9 instead of the default 0-5. This allows me to set more finite speed adjustments and find that perfect range that fits me, because everyone is different. This bike isn't really great as a Road Bike or Mountain Bike but is decent at both. The front supension is so-so and the back suspension is non-existent . To offset that, I bought a nice cushy seat, and a seat post with a shock absorber in it. It has helped immensely, or at least alot better than I thought it would.
