Another great Dr. Seuss book
This was in a pile of Dr. Seuss books that granny had borrowed for our son (who is four) to read on holiday and it soon became a favourite of his and also everyone else too. On returning home I decided to buy him his own copy as it's a great book to sit and read aloud with lots of rhyming words and use of imagination.I can really recommend this story to parents who want to encourage their children to appreciate books. If you've never read a Dr. Seuss book before then it's a great starting point and will probably end up with you borrowing and buying many more!

Excellent little book!
This is a funny, non sensical little book that teaches children the pleasure of playing with words... My 6 year old discovered it at school and wanted to have it at home. She loves reading it aloud for her little brother and for anyone else who is happy to hear. They both take pleasure in sounding the sentences. If that can make them appreciate rhymes and the magical power of words, it's a win!

This was my favourite book as a young child (I was always getting it out the library) - and now my kid loves it to. He had it at bedtime regularly from about 9 months of age. He's now 2 and still loves it.

Great little book, lots of silly words
We like this book as it’s silly, it also opened up a conversation about “alien” words which I only learnt about today as part of my little ones phonics homework. We love all the silly words and try to make up our own.

Nonsense - but beautifully written
Excellent book for increasing children’s understanding of the language. Ignore the “woke” naysayers.
