Q: Is the thick hair brush for curly hair?

Yes. I have super thick curly hair and it works great!

Q: How does it work on curly hair?

I have thick curly hair, and it works great. Goes through quickly, does not hurt, no hair falls out. However, I do spritz water or some kind of mist on the hair first to soften it- i don't use it on dry hair. I think with thick curly hair, you are always better off detangling or brushing when it's hydrated - it's less likely to get damaged that way.
