My console went blinking … eventually totally dead. Paid a technician $100...he checked the old power supply … said it was good...his only recommendation was $380 main board. I had checked the old power supply (9.1 volts) and replaced the "reed" switch also earlier ..... still blank screen.I replaced the power supply (just hoping!) and the console came to life and works great!The plug on this model is slightly longer than the original...but still works great! Others reviews prompted me to purchase this power supply....try this new power supply first before you consult a technician or purchase any other parts!

I scored a brand new life fitness elyptical for $50 and they said it just needed a new charge chord. Bought this and it’s working perfectly.

The advanced exercise console on my Life Fitness X3 elliptical (circa 2006) began flashing on and off suddenly and without any advance warning leading to blue-blinky unhappiness for my entire family. While the machine is more than 10 years old, it has been well-kept, is in excellent shape, and has never gotten wet (i.e. from a basement leak, etc.). That last point is important because when I called Life Fitness' customer support line, they provided three options: Option 1 - book a technician home visit which would entail $100 flat fee for the visit, $110/hr. for any diagnostic time spent, and $385 if the console's main circuit board required replacement. Option 2 - purchase a new machine if I didn't want to spend almost $600 trying to fix the X3. Option 3 - since the machine had never gotten wet and was not otherwise abused, it was suggested that I try a replacement power supply first to see if that solved the bad monitor/console problem. As luck would have it, the "$14 with free Prime shipping and free return" option was not only the most obvious first step, it's also the one that solved the problem. I ordered the power adapter on Friday, received it on Saturday, plugged it in...and voila!...no more blinky console. I was not looking forward to purchasing another high-end elliptical machine for my family this year (I, my wife, and our two teenagers all use it), so I'm pretty danged happy that this worked out. This replacement for the T-Power for Life Fitness X3 works fine. I also appreciated the card that shows the different connector sizes for future orders supplied by the seller. The only thing I wish it had was a longer cord. This item has a 6.6' cord, but the original had one that was nearly 9 feet. Still, a good replacement.

I purchased this power cord because it specifically stated that it was for my model of elliptical, but the barrel plug is the wrong size. Elliptical does not power on.

I bought this blindly because I saw the LF X3 designation and thought it would also work for the i version. It does not. The i version must somehow be different than the regular X3, as the power brick supplies 12VAC (the difference being the voltage plus the AC, this power supply is DC) and the 1.67A versus this product at .5A. This gave me a "Motor Error" in four seconds after plugging in. Item Returned. I gave it three stars because I guess it works for the X3's, as people here seem to say it does. It puts out almost no real Amps, so I don't know how that can be.

Works well, have been using it over a month now with no issues.
