Nice product with best audio quality
I have a projector, Fire TV stick and JBL cinema 150. Since there is no audio return function with projector and Fire TV stick, I have been looking for improving the audio . This OREI product is perfect partner with this setup, We are enjoying Dolby and 5.1 audio from Prime, HOTstar and other apps. Though priced little high, It does the job well and fitted my audio requirements. Best part is its Optical output that produces some of the best sounds with my audio system. Overall I am happy. Looking for long lasting performance.

Dot spend for ARC.
Not working with sony TV in ARC mode. Using as HDMI splitter & works perfectly. Both ARC switch & EDID switch do not found adding any value.

OREI HDA-925 with soundbar (HDMI ARC)
Hi Everyone,If you are planning to buy this one that please remember that -1. It would not work with any sound bar which has HDMI ARC capabilities - Even though this product claims but i have an official email from OREI USA that it just won't work.2. It will work if you have an AMP which take HDMI input. Again check !! Double Check don't waste money!!3. It works perfectly fine with Amazon Firestick and with clean sound on TV (via HDMI) as well on the Optical Port4. It is a rock solid body made of metal5. Good DesignFor me what it did not work what i was expecting it because of you can call JBL issue or OREI issue, I don't know but for me it was waste of money.I have returned it to seller.Happy Shopping.

Very good HDMI audio extractor
I had problem with Apple TV 4K going through my Yamaha AVR. There were so many issues with the video passthrough. Bought this unit as per recommendation from the seller and it turned out to be a good choice. Now I'm able to get the full 4K display on TV and Atmos sound on the AVR. Both doing the best they are supposed to do. Alternatives in the market is HD Fury and it is way too expensive. This is a great option for anyone looking to solve 4K display passing through AVR. Unit is well built and feels solid.

Good quality, it works well as i expected - using it since 6 months
Using this since 5 to 6 months with my XBOX SERIES X to have a optical audio out for my headphone. It does the job just as described in the listing. It is bit expensive but very dependable unit.

Orei audio extractor disappointed me
HDR passthrough did not work using the device , the remote did not work when the device was in use. Would not recommend this audio extractor.

Great device for splitting 4k video and audio
I was looking for a device that could split audio and video . I have an older av reciever that was unable to passthrough 4k video to a 4k TV. However I still wanted to use the receiver to power my home theater speakers. This product was the perfect fit. It does exactly what it is advertised to do. I have just started using it and am loving it so far. You can output audio either via HDMI or spdif . All in all, i am satisfied and am happy to have found this product.
