These work and look great and protect the paint from dog nails. I recently moved and cleaned/painted all the doors. My little dog is a door scratcher, so I purchased this and had to get another roll to finish the rest of the doors (I didn’t think about how much I actually needed). The 63” roll got about 3 sides of doors, I trimmed the width a little and used those extra pieces on the door frame. Once placed I barely notice them, glad I didn’t go with a silver plate.Installing was a little tricky, the second roll I got that was larger had backing on it which help during placement. The doors already had dents from previous dogs/wear and tear, so there is some bubbling.

I initially ordered the 63” and the quality’s phenomenal so I decided to order the 196” cos i said more value for money, but the 196 is a totally different quality, a lot of bubbles and dirty.. evem had it replaced cos i thought thats just one but got the same bad quality.. returned and ordered the 63” and got the better quality.. so nust dont order the 196 thats all

Our puppy scratches at the door when we leave. We put strips down on the door and it did protect the door and discouraged her scratching a little bit. Using just one stretch on each door, I think it covered 2-3 doors. I thought it would be honestly. Some doors were easy to remove, others the adhesive stuck to the door rather than the vinyl. Had to remove with a stiff card. With scraps we put them on the trim, it totally removed the paint on them, but it was crappy paint anyway.

False advertising, this product sticks and is difficult to remove and it does peel your paint off of what it's stuck too.Terrible. Made a problem worse. I want my money back!

I would give it a 2.5 stars but it’s not an option. Please revamp this product to add a peel and stick to make your product easier to use and work with. If you have to cut to fit, the tape rolls up or sticks to everything and you should probably use two people so the 2nd person can hold it to keep from sticking. Also, a peel and stick would help eliminate any fingerprint smudging. More is needed to complete my project but only purchasing because I don’t want to have to get something somewhere else and it’s not the same. This would be a great product otherwise.

Good quality ,easy to work with , clings nicely to your wall. The only thing is you need more than you think. I used this to protect my wall from doing pottery on the wheel. I need to go and get 2 more rolls just to use about 3 by 3 feet. It's good if you want to use one leg of a table or 1 part of a door that a pet might be working on.

I am using this in lieu of a brass kickplate on my door. I love it because it’s hard to tell it’s there and it does its job beautifully. No trouble with sticking or staying put. 10/10

Not a great return for my money. Roll came out of the box with black greasy finger prints on it. Instead of returning it immediately, I naively thought I can wipe these prints after I open the roll. I had to throw away a considerable piece from a roll that is already very very small. Because I threw away the dirty big portion, I ran out of material to finish my job and had to order another roll so they match.Another thing to watch for is that as I started applying the material to the door I want protected, I had to line up the material with edge if the door and it is normal to pull it back a bit to line it up correctly. One little pull back pulled the paint with it of a newly painted door (the door paint was perfectly dry). I am talking pulling it back less than 1”.I bought this simply because I needed a more flexible guard to apply on my door. I will not buy it again considering the high price and small quantity of material you get for the high price.
